You're so underrated :( I know 11.5k is a lot, but for the work you do, you're def underrated! I genuinely hope you gain more subscribers, and more recognition. I love your work and I hope you keep doing these types of things!
Omg I was struggling for an hour trying to get my patterns to print right, tried like 3 different programs, and yet... the answer was MS Paint all along..... I can't believe I missed this earlier, thank you for making this! This will be super helpful for uh... well, the next head I make lol.
It's 11pm on a Thursday, the night before my daughters Book Week Costume Parade which I thought it was the end of next month and I have one Cowardly Lion costume to make with no supplies other than what's in my craft/sewing room so all I can say is I'm so grateful I found your channel.. YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER... thank you!!!
Im so happy someone finaly made this, but I have a problem. I cant seem to find the Paint program. Could you please send a link for the dowload or would any other art program work the same? Thanks!
just press the Windows button on your keyboard and then type Paint, it's called MS Paint i think. its a very basic program. any other program could work but i cant tell you how to do any of these steps in other programs! youd be on your own.
I'm sorry this is really confusing for me, I'm kinda stupid erm- What would you suggest doing if I already made my pattern and the thing I used to base it off of was a stock image of the side view of a human head and not a bucket base since I haven't made it yet? Also I'm on mobile and do not have a computer so I'd prefer mobile friendly applications in place of paint if that's a possibility- im sorry! I don't mean to bombard you with questions I'm just extremely confused /gen /nm
I don't really think you can do any of this on mobile! I haven't heard of being able to print from your phone....... you will just have to draw them out physically on paper instead! sorry!
@@freckledcatcreations I know this is a bit late, but you can print from your phone/iPad/tablet! I printed off PDF images of a fursuit pattern from Etsy! I guess in this case it’s just finding a way to print off your own design to full size… :P
I'm not really sure, I wanted to show the ways I knew how to do it but I can't figure out some of the other ways! Maybe try searching RUclips for that?
I’m working on my first head now and it’s not symmetrical.. should I continue with it, or try again with a pattern? (I’ve been putting off fixing the left side since it’s smaller and I just need some advice :3 thanks in advance!)
oh! you could try and fix it! have you tried looking at it in the mirror? I hold mine up and look in the mirror, and take a sharpie and kinda scribble over the areas that i need to trim down so i can find them later. and taking a pic of it and mirroring it in a drawing program would help too if you have the ability!
@@potatorcat Just one more thing I can think of, is getting other people to look at it too and help! other than that, I wouldnt know any other way to fix. so you would start over .3.
I search for spandex/lycra ! its a "moisture wicking fabric" that helps keep you cool and dries sweat faster. i get mine from joanns and spandexworld . com.
Yes! I was waiting for someone to do this!
ah!!! youre very welcome!

You are so welcome!!! I thought this was really needed.
Do you prefer doing a foam bucket or balaclava ? I've only worked with a foam bucket, but I've wanted to try balaclava. Is it worth it ?
I haven't tried doing just a balaclava underneath the head yet but I'd like to try someday!
this is the WORST part of fursuit making in my opinion, i hate working with technology weehh 😭
love this video! thanks for making it ❤

How can I print it without paint or export the pages in scale?

I know this is quite an old video, but is anyone aware of a way of doing this one Mac?
Can i make this on mobile ?
maybe? something like autodesk sketchbook app maybe!
@@freckledcatcreations thanks !!
What platform did u use for this?
I used Paint Tool SAI for the drawing program (you could use any that has layers!), and ms paint to set up for printing!
