i have grown chrysanthemum for the first time this year by following your steps. i have grown the yellow dwarf variety and unknowingly did some pinching and the results are truly amazing! thanks for these new methods, will try out them next year!
Thank you you share so much information that I often use and I appreciate it. Many people just throw away their moms at the end of flowering but I keep mine from year to year and they have a beautiful drift through the garden. Now I bet they'll be even better❤
You are most welcome and glad to hear I could do something 🤗 I agree...here too many throw them at the end of the season. But they easily survive for the next year, even sometimes bloom in summer too. Wish you all the best 🤗
Very useful video, many thanks. Have been trying to grow chrysanthemum for some time now, but leaves keep getting brown, and plant dies.... Not had any good results so far... Will try your method
You are most welcome and thank you for your feedback! Look like your plants are getting attacked by powdery mildew (common on Chrysanthemum). You would need to apply fungicide and for that, you can use SAAF (Dose 2 grams in 1 liter water) Wish you all the best! Normally if plants are healthy, we don't get much issues.
At this time, you just need to wait for some more days. The buds take many days before bloom..But if you like, you can definitely follow the methods as shown in the video. Good luck and sir is not required actually!
Starting to dry out -> Can you please tell me if they are already done with flowering? If yes, there would be very less chance of getting flowers again. They would bloom again in next year. You can prune the old dry branches and soon it would start producing new growths. If flowering is not done yet, look for the pest attacks. Water well, apply pesticide and then fertilize well. Soon, it would recover. Powdery mildew is also common on Chrysanthemum. If there is any, you would also need to apply fungicide. SAAF and dose is 2 grams in 1 liter water. Apply once in 7-10 days. Wish you all the best!
