The story is, Ren was coming home from busking and saw Sam performing without an amp or guitar.
Ren, offered them up for him to use.
Sam said that he couldn't play.
So, Ren told him that he would play while Sam sang and he could keep all of the money.
From THAT chance meeting, a beautiful friendship was born.

Yeah of all the reactors I think theirs have the most pure joy and appreciation for these Brighton miracles. It’s just so fresh. It’s like coming out of a tunnel that somehow it’s raining inside, and the day is beautiful and someone is there to hand you a flower and a biscuit. ❤
How did they find each other? The story goes that Ren was on his way back from busking when he passed Sam singing on the street with no amplification so he offered him his amps and accompanied him. Now, Sam calls Ren his best friend. Naturally.

Domenica, I totally understand your struggle to define how you feel about Ren, because I'm going through the same. I feel proud and protective, I want to nourish and heal, and I am in awe. He's just a few years older than my oldest grandchild, and I relate to him like that -- a grandson. And also his wonderful friends I'm coming to know: Sam, Romaine, Gorran, Chinchilla, Eden, and more. I'm more astounded every day to have come across these talented and inspired musicians!
Romain Axisa, who is the other lead guitarist in Ren's band The Big Push, is a very talented performer in his own right. You will be able to see what I mean by listening to any of the following songs by him. Try "Love Without Feelings-Live" is truly amazing and a real tear-jerker, "Bang Bang(Nancy Sinatra cover", "Romain Axisa - Blue Moon (Elvis Presley cover)" or "Romain Axisa - Georgia On My Mind (Ray Charles cover)", which is my personal favourite along with "Love Without Feelings". I think his vocal abilities will thrill you. Have fun guys. 🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩Oops, I almost forgot to mention "Goodbye Good Days", which is really lovely.

Every time I watch this, I am stunned at how good Sam is ...but then Ren's voice makes you forget you've even heard Sam.
Their song Blind Eyed is amazing. The live Music Crowns Session version has incredible sound, but you should also watch the Angry Car Park Attendant version.
To hear Sam Tompkins at his very best, try, "Lose it All (live session)". It might just bring you both to tears and not just Andrei this time. lol. You guys are so genuine and honest; please never stop doing the reactions.Lots of love from Scotland.

I always love your reactions, and you two are forever among my most favorite reactors. Sam Tompkins is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, UK, born in 1997. He is an incredible artist who recently opened up for Justin Bieber in Norway. Sam has a number of songs, "Bloodline," "Hero," "Follow Suit," “Whole,” and “Not So Grey,” that address some serious issues like family, mental health, suicide, and other struggles. "You Broke my Heart So Gently," "Critical," "You're The Love Of My Life," "Lose It All," “Google Luv,” and his cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World" are beautiful, but his entire catalog is well-worth listening to. I usually prefer the acoustic version of his songs over the pop version, as I am generally not much into pop, hip-hop, or rap. There are very few artists in these genres I will listen to and actually enjoy.
Sam’s other collaborations with Ren are definitely a must. Check out “Blind Eyed,” “Walking on the Moon/No Diggity,” “Feeling Good/Trouble So High/Masterblaster (Jammin'),” “Latch,” “Wild Thoughts/Crazy in love (Live Session),” “Same Old Situation (Live, feat. Ren),” “Improvising Around Stevie Wonder,” “What Went Wrong” Part I&II.

What struck me is when Ren pauses at the end of Man’s world before the final line, it is DEAD SILENT except for Brighton’s gulls. Dozens if not hundreds standing on a busy city street…and silence.

I am in love with you two - seriously. I love your reactions to Ren, cos that's what I'm watching at the moment but I feel you guys, it is beautiful to watch these two friends singing so wonderfully together. Watch them singing their own song Blind eyed. There are several versions, but the live busking one is my favourite for sure. All of them are great versions though.

The story behind Ren meeting Sam is pretty awesome. Ren was out busking trying to make some money and he wasn't feeling too well cause of the Lyme disease so he packed up and when he was leaving the area he saw this 15 year old kid singing his ass off but he didn't have any equipment. No PA system to sing through, no guitar amp, nothing. So Ren offered up the his equipment and even he even played guitar for him and they both instantly hit it off and killed it. They made a decent amount of money and when Sam when he tried giving half to Ren he told him to keep it! They've been friends ever since.
-You should check out Ren and Sam Tompkins. Especially their original song, "Blind Eyed" BUT NOT the official music video. It's not as good as the live version that you can find on a RUclips channel called "Music Crown" OR you can check out another live video of the same song but it's labeled, "Blind Eyed Featuring the Angry Car Park Attendant lol it's funny ass hell as they keep signing while getting kicked out of the building. You could also react to both at the same time, some reactors have done that and you'll get to see they both sound different but are amazing.
Sam Tompkins has been opening up for Justin Bieber. He has a video on his RUclips page of his first show with Justin and while Bieber was up performing he had Sam come out and sing with him. So that's how you know Sam is on the way up.

"5 years ago when i was 16 years old, i used to go busking in brighton to make myself a little bit of pocket money so i could do 16 year old shit. i couldn’t play the guitar and didn’t have an amp, but i’d put my hat down and just hope people would stop and give my voice a listen. one day, a young guy was walking past and must’ve heard something he liked cos he was watching me whilst i sung my heart out so intently. after i finished my song, he came over to me and said that he’d finished busking for the day, he had a guitar and an amp, and said if i wanted i could use them. i politely declined and said i couldn’t play the guitar, i wouldn’t have a clue where to start. he said that he would play for me and whatever money i made, i could keep all for myself. we played for an hour or so and it was amazing. people were actually stopping, and I can honestly say it was the first time i felt comfortable with singing to people. this was the very moment and the very first song me and that boy played together. that boy was Ren and I’m honestly welling up typing this, but he’s my best friend and my brother. i’ve seen ren go through some of the toughest stuff I’ve ever seen anyone have to go through and he’s inspired me the whole way . i cry almost every time I watch this video. it’s such a special moment to have had captured and glad i can now share it with all of you ❤"
