I replayed all KH games in honor of the 20th anniversary and when I came across that boss fight I just paused it and stared at the screen for a full minute when I realized what that thing was.
I will always defend khux. I know this game is a weird hill to die on, but I genuinely love the story (when its focused), it's honestly one to the best stories I've ever witnessed due to scenes like this. The keyblade war was horrific and those who survived and remember had to deal with the guilt of watching their friends slaughter. This scene perfectly encapsulates that concept. None of the leaders of the dandilions and even everyone else who forgot, walked out of the experience unscathed. We will always miss the ones we lost.

Well some of them as it’s revealed a few of their members were Dandelion members that somehow like Ventus ended up in the present timeline As the era of Union Cross took place before the current world, the current multiverse of worlds existed, as the Keyblade War destroyed the world of the Dandelions and fractured it into a multiverse of countless worlds The Dandelions worked to restore the light which allowed the World to exist as it is So there’s an untold amount of years, between KH 1 and Union Cross in the grand scheme of things Which is why seeing characters like Ventus and Lauriam and Larxene’s human self is such an amazing revelation knowing theyre really ancient Keyblade Wielders that existed before life began in the World Sora knows it
This really good, the transition of the point of view moving around Lauriam and Strelitzia was well thought out and pretty smooth. This channel is gonna be big one day, and I'm excited to see what you'll put out next.

Strelitzia is really a union leader instead of Ven it's so tragic that darkness possessed Ven to try and murder her and now Strelitzia is alive and well in Quadraum with Sora waiting for Lauriam and Elrena to come for her

Why do I have a feeling in order for streletzia to live darkness would corrupt her and it would obviously warp her way of thinking about her feelings about us to the point of obsession
I am not the only one who thinks this and to me its a bit of a head cannon that if Strelitiza came back she would be an entity of darkness (kind of like what Ansem (Xehanort's heartless) was, not quite a heartless but definitely not Darkness (the entity)) that is a bit of a yandere for the player. Prehaps one of the reasons she came back was because her desire to speak to the player was strong enough to keep her around but it became twisted and deeper as she became an creature of darkness, perhaps bordering on madness with how deep her obsession with the player now ran.
Well I started with doing thumbnail sketches on paper of all the key poses, then redrew em as roughs on the art program of my choice. I then spent half an hour in a cushion filled closet to record, trying out as many different ways to deliver the lines as I could. Once that was done, I used Audacity(A free audio program) to pick and edit together the best takes. I then went back to draw all the poses, keeping the characters and backgrounds as separate layers, and once that was finished, I used Davinci Resolve(Another free editing program) to edit all the art, sound and music together. Took months of time, frustration and patience to do this behemoth of a project, but it was well worth it. I hope my advice can help you with your own creative endeavors too!

@@KirbyProductions Same logic applies really. Rewatch it, then start with some easy to spit out thumbnails and let it carry you from there. Maybe put on some music that vibes with the scene. You don't even have to start at the beginning. Start at your favorite part or the part you have the clearest idea for. Besides that, I wouldn't know what to recommend to get the creative juices flowing

I’ve been wanting to do things like this, but never got an idea on where to start doing something like this
Well I started with doing thumbnail sketches on paper of all the key poses, then redrew em as roughs on the art program of my choice.
