After reading the description I would like to say that I found this interpretation of the piece to be phenomenal. The Nier Soundtrack is full of pieces that convey so many emotions and you 100% portrayed them while playing. Loved it and hope to see more Nier pieces in the future. 👍

Completey agree with your developing philosophy on expressing the spirit of the piece and, in turn what interpretation you put out. Shadowlord and Grandma are my two favorite pieces from NieR Replicant Piano Collections... Happy to see you playing it!
Part from 1:33-1:45 should be removed from this piece. I've seen it in every piano cover / arrangement. In actual song the tension keeps building up until the very end and gives sense of eternally ongoing battle. So instead of covering it as going with a whimper (example Kuroi uta / Black song white scales), the song should end with a bang.. or fading it in a way that when you stop playing the piece, people still hear it (continuing to play it :)
