It seems like record store owners are all cut from the same cloth. They are talkers, and love sharing stories about their shops, bands, records, concerts, etc. Everytime I go to two of the three locally, I have to go knowing that I will need at least an hour to dig and 30 minutes for conversation. Very cool video.

Excellent presentation!! I’ve been to every one of these stores several times. Also the Rock Shop in the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing which I know you’re very familiar with. You might want to try Jack’s Music Shoppe in Red Bank and the four shops on Haddon Ave from Haddonfield to Collingswood. Keep up the great work!!!

I have been anticipating this video! This makes me feel the need to plan a road trip to some of my favorite stores! Sam is right about the fact that Twenty One Pilots covered Cancer. It was a decent cover but it is hard to beat MCR! I need that Queen bootleg in my life. I wish our local stores had more bootlegs! You all had a very nice haul!

You missed Princeton record exchange. Glad to see a tour of Sky Valley records as I've bought plenty off them on Discogs. I can only do one store in a day as I spend typically 6-8 hours there.
There are plans to visit PRE with several other VC channel guys so it’s in the works!

I loved The Record Store in Howell, was a customer in high school & recently when I’d go home but sadly they closed last year. Head is such an awesome album. The Monkees have so many great songs that many don’t know about. Hoping Rhino does a Missing Links reissue campaign in the future.
Hi Dylan!!! what else to say but wow, that was an awesome road trip. Those stores are amazing, glad they had the chance to re open and get back in business, cool records and stories too, the Man Cave such an entertaining fellow. Get more of this videos and see in the next one.

SAM IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER BABY!! Haha love seeing your little road trips together!! Such cool stores and loved seeing those butcher covers!!! SO cool! That Hendrix poster too! Glad he gave a bit of background on that! Such a cool piece! I love me some Monkees! I saw them live when Peter was still with us, but sadly my favorite, Mike, wasn't touring with them! Glad you managed to get that reissue of the butcher cover! I would totally fake my brain into thinking it was real to satisfy that want!! Your trip to the Man Cave reminds me of when I go shopping with Roxanne!! After hitting the record shop, we hit the soda shop right next door and we sit and share our finds to some fun soda flavors!! I still have my first Monkees banana nut soda I put up on my window seal! I couldn't get myself to drink it, it was so cool!! That Mofi Supertramp album was wicked cool!! What a neat listening room they give ya!!! GOTTA END THE VIDEO WITH PAUL!!! Duh!!! Very cool! That release of Red Rose Speedway is still on my list!! Such a fun fantastic video, loved seeing Sam's random picks!! I love doing the same with vinyl in the 1-3 dollar bin and I've gotten some true hidden gems from it! She's a smart one!!! A whole Beatles section...WOW!! A Butcher and original Elvis...holy moly! RL Zep II...drooling! A beautiful Hendrix piece! Band soda, awesome! That Monkees story is also awesome! John Lennon's autograph too! That Lennon story is funny! An unofficial "Yesterday And Today" is better than none! "Parachutes" is a Coldplay classic! Kiss Army cola, lol! Banana nut soda, yooooo! "The Wedding Album!" JOHNNNNNNNNNNN, YOKOOOOOOOOOOOO! Bagism! I need to hear "Head" still and most of The Monkees works! Some nice postcards you got there! STP's album "No. 4" is my least favorite album of their discography but it still is a good album overall! "Down" was the big hit from that album if I am not mistaking! I've heard about Toad The Wet Sproket a lot in the VC recently and have been wanting to check them out! YESSSS PLEASE HAVE SAM MAKE A CHANNEL!!!! Oooo a jukebox, cool! Lots of vintage gear! "Crime Of The Century" is so good! Oh yes..."Red Rose Speedway!" Sam's outro...love it! Great stuff man! All the best!
Woohoo - I was super excited about this one. This video was a lot of fun! Love that Sam tagged along for the ride and picked up some goodies too. That Hendrix 7"/story was super interesting. Watching this video is making the record-store itch even worse. I'm counting down the days until I'm settled into the new place so that I can finally make my rounds to a handful of them near me. What a great trip it looks like you and your lady had! Really enjoyed this video and would encourage you to do more of these... in addition to all of the fantastic videos you already produce. Of course, if you were to squeeze in some more KISS-related videos, I certainly wouldn't complain. But, you probably knew that already. As for the shops, I'd love to visit them. Man, I want to go to Jersey and I'm pretty sure I've NEVER said that ever. Cheers!
