Nobody is being Attacked, But, There Are Plenty Examples of Avoiding The Direct Questions and Outright Lying.
Some see it as clarifying, others who are blinded see it as avoiding direct questions and outright lying.
If the question itself is not correct, clarification becomes a necessity.
It's an art to ask the right questions, but it's also an art to ask sneaky questions of which there is no truthful answer possible without clarification of the question itself. Sometimes there is no art, just stupidity.

The questions are not always the same either. Did “we” fund the Wuhan lab? vs Did “we” fund GOF? The answers will be different for both questions if the latter was not funded, even if that’s what was also happening in that lab. I’m sure you do see the logic in that.
Allow me to use an analogy here:
When I go to the grocerystore, I'm in a way funding the grocerystore, but that doesn't mean I'm buying all of their products.
Concerning the mask guidelines, it is also not the way Jim Jordan represents it. Guidelines are not just black and white, and are subject to chance when the reality requires it to do so. We had surges, drops, vaccinations (in certain areas more than in others). Are you going to never use an umbrella/rainjacket again when it stops raining as the clouds part temporarily? No, you are going to use it again when it starts raining again.
Having been medically schooled myself the following thoughts make perfect sense to me:
Airborne transmissible virus + pandemic => masks, vaccines (= solution).
Masks wont stop everything => but every little bit helps (cfr. Surgery rooms f.e.)
The more vaccinated people => reducing longevity of virus in carrier => less spread => reduced enviremont for mutations.
Masks + vaccines => reduced deaths => reduced suffering before death and potentially after recovery => solution to pandemic.
Vaccines => multiple, not all built the same way, papers about it’s development, content, usage are open to the public as it should be.
At this moment in time the suggestion/requirement of wearing masks depends heavily on the enviremont and ratio of unvaccinatedvaccinated people.
Regarding the emails Jim is citating from. Again, a total misrepresentation. I only know this because I read those exact mails too ( s3.documentcloud.org/documents/20793561/leopold-nih-foia-anthony-fauci-emails.pdf ) It bottles down to Jim’s affinity to mixing facts with suggestions and seemingly not being able to reconstruct the reality as it is. I find him highly untrusthworthy. I also think he’s not pretending either, I think he actually is not the smartest guy around. That is one of the primary reasons why I do not like Jim Jordan at all and find it insane that someone like him is allowed to have an important seat in US Congress. (at this point I don’t even want to know who exactly he is representing as a House member…)
Then there’s the twisted idea of “freedom” that people chose to hide behind instead of acknowledging that a pandemic is not a political game, and thus with that behaviour prolonging the pandemic. It requires medical attention, not political partisan attention, and def not conspiracy attention! Seen the political load it has gotten it is not at all surprising to me that both masks and vaccines have been misrepresented in mutliple different ways, and it frankly saddens me.

Here is something that could add perspective. We don't know what the medium or long term consequences are, but the short term is emerging. I wanted to see what the real CDC data was so I pulled up their database and ran some searches. I think people will be interested to learn first hand how these vaccines compare against all others. I trust the CDC's data - and while the data needs to be scaled for absolute numbers to account for submission participation rate, it is still valid in a relative sense. Here is how:
• Go to this link to the CDC’s database by searching for VAERS Wonder database
• Scroll to the bottom and click I AGREE
• Click the blue tab - Request Form
• For item 1. Organize table layout in the “Group Results By” box use the dropdown to switch from “Symptoms” to “Vaccine Type”
• Scroll to item 5. Select other event characteristics click on “Death”, the CTRL click on "Life Threatening", and "Permanent Disability" so only those 3 are highlighted
• Scroll to item 10. Select adverse event onset dates scroll down the years and click / ctrl click on the last 5 or 10 years. For instance, if you want to do 5 years, in the currently selected box All Dates should disappear and you should have 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 showing.
• Scroll to the bottom and hit Send
It is reported that the CDC estimates perhaps only 25% of the incidents get submitted so you can multiply all the results by at least 4 times. Other medical people in the vaccine industry estimate the participation is even less so the multiplication factor is may be more. Regardless, you get to see the relative safety of these vaccines compared to all others. If you do the 5 year comparison, keep in mind that just for the influenza vaccines, approximately 1 billion are given out in that period in the USA.
