    Hi guys awesome vid again. From the information I have found out on the Stroke Lab. The lighter weight of the shaft has been transferred into the head and shaft butt. So overall weight is about the same. Matt may have benefited in adding a little more weight into the heel of the Stroke Lab. I would suspect the Stoke Lab was a little more toe heavy than the other.

    First I wanna say I would spend 5 times what I would on a driver or driver shaft on a putter because the putter is where the biggest impact can be made on my overall score. I recently purchased a Toulon Portland with the stroke lab shaft and my experience is that it helped me instantly out of the wrapper. I find it mostly has helped me with distance control and those 3 to 6 foot knee knockers for par.... or bogey lol. I have really enjoyed the shaft and have gained a lot of confidence and lowered my score by 3 strokes on average over 9 rounds. I would still be very interested in trying the stability shaft as well. Thanks guys for all your hard work. You keep me stocked up with the latest gear nerd tech info and I love you for it!

      From someone who owned the stability and got rid of it...... Get the stroke lab. You'll never putt on a flat, pure, 10 ft. Green. Distance control is everything. The stroke lab is what I switched to and its truly a game changer, especially on short slippery putts and distance control. Remember that the dude "testing" has gamed that shaft in his putter for a while and only took 3 strokes with the stroke lab. Hardly an objective test to say the least.

    • @BuffaloNickel9
      @BuffaloNickel9 2 года назад

      @@Philliprecio Exactly! I'm reading up and down people who are saying the same thing as you about the Odyssey stroke land shaft being miles better for them.
      and a few people who want to make any excuse they can in the world for the stability shaft because they've already spent the money to buy it when clearly 95% of folks prefer and benefit more from the stroke lab. including this video where someone who uses the stability shaft, Matt and was comfortable with it, only took three putts to prove the stroke lab was a better more intuitive shaft, just like the comments are reporting..

      Matt Leader wherever you can do to make the ball roll the same one after another. Everyone is different. I was in your boat about a year ago. I was asking about lie angles, where to put it in my stance and pretty much everything I could think of. Putting was my weakness being a scratch. But I bought a little 9 foot putting green and I figured how to roll the ball the same every time or close to and didn’t care about how it looked or if it was “the right way”. And it’s night and day difference. Just get it rolling the same. You can have you eye over or just behind the line most of the time. But you should be looking at you ball the whole time Through your swing so being dominate isn’t that big of deal. It’s another thing ppl just say. My humble opinion. Best putter inside of ten feet is Fowler and he says he just looks at on spot and not at the hole. Aims, speed and then he doesn’t need to worry about anything else. So being dominate isn’t that big of deal. Hope I helped at all. Good luck buddy.

      Not everyone may suit the balance point of the strokelab, so it may not help everyone improve. It may make some people worse. The tech in the stability just takes the variance of the shaft out of the equation. You still need to be using a putters that suits you and then you can add the stability shaft to that

    One question I do have is can I reuse a Stability shaft in a different putter? Assuming the same putter head style (plumbers neck etc.) can the shaft be harvested from your old putter and be used again?

      Tipsy McStagger I tested them at Club Champion and they told me it was transferable so essentially a one time cost if you want to use different head.

    One other point that should be mentioned;
    Most people can't buy a new standalone stroke lab shaft. (Yet)
    The stability shaft on the other hand can be bought and fitted to anything that fits it.

    I can't speak to the Stability shaft, but I can say that my putting has never been better after adding an Odyssey Stroke Lab ONE putter to the arsenal.
    Not sure if it's the head ,the face, the shaft, or just the overall combo but the thing just plain putts balls in holes.

    Odyssey claims this new shaft is slightly stiffer with lower torque than I'm assuming there regular putting shafts. What do u think about that claim?🤔

    Is there an option to put a stroke lab shaft into a putter, or would I have to buy a whole new putter?

      Yes. You can mail them your putter. They require you put a new grip on though.

    Isn't the stability what he normally games? Makes sense that his stroke is adjusted to that shaft. Isn't the stroke lab different weighting completely? I'd be more interested in someone who's never hit both and/or distance control numbers more than him hitting his gamer versus something he hasn't played multiple rounds with on a 10ft. completely flat putt..... Just a thought

    Can stability shafts be used in center shafted putters? Have you fitted clubs around players that use Arccos grips or the Arccos original sensors? Are there any changes?

    Great video guys, now the most important question is, how do we get a stability shaft on our putters? Is their a fitting center?, do we send our putters to the manufacturer for them to install them? Can we purchase one and have a local fitter install one?....etc......???????????????????

      From what I've found on BGT's website you just box up your putter of choice and send it straight to them and the installation is included in the base price. I think you fill out something online to tell them the type of grip, length ect. that you want.

    Sorry I missed the live Premier showing, (please don't Black Ball me from the Club)!
    I have so much Putter testing that I need to do (EvnRoll 2019 Putter Range, Gravity Grip & the Stability Shaft) and so many questions to ask (will an EvnRoll Putter, plus the Gravity Grip, plus the Stability Shaft and a Counter Balance weight in the handle work) or am I going for Belt, Braces and a Parachute???????
    But the Brick Wall that I'm hitting is that I can't find anyone in the UK that deals with Both EvnRoll and the Stability Shaft.
    Damn, I'm just gonna have tee fly over the Pond again!!!!!!

    The Stroke Lab One is a 'toe hang' putter, so if Matt's putter face only rotates minimally, it's not for him. They do have plenty of options for 'face balanced' putters. I only know this because I bought the One today and googled.
