I chose to follow your channel on the strength of your personalities, and then became interested in some of the locales you visited. Your home base is lovely! It must be so relaxing to come back to after being on the road for lengths of time. It was cute to see how the hens lined up to greet you at the gate; they probably know they're "special" to you, Renee. The roses will be a beautiful addition to your garden (and their scent in the breeze will be a lovely addition, as well). I recognized the lavender right away; we happen to live not to far from the "lavender capital of TX" (Blanco, a small town in the Hill Country). It's convenient and healthy to have fresh veggies and eggs daily. I can tell you've put much sweat/thought into making this more than just a dwelling place for the two of you. What your home may lack in size, the land it's on (and all you've done to add to it's beauty and function) surely makes up for it. I will definitely be following you around New Zealand (already know it's going to be beautiful). God bless you both! Roxanne
Thanks Roxanne. And thanks for all your support and comments over the last year and a bit. We always enjoy hearing from you and Texas is still on our radar for future travels. We love growing our own veggies although we're not always successful! Many thanks again :)
Congratulations on your subscriber numbers. I'm not surprised at all 🌟🌟🌟 We initially joined you as we are also motor homers & have so enjoyed your travels with you. It's lovely to see your beautiful home & gardens ..... oh the outside Bath !!! Perfect for your climate. Look forward to your trips around NZ it's on our list to do now we're retired. We're in the UK & have a daughter & family in Oz so we may combine hiring a van to tour NZ after Oz. You've inspired us along your travels. Thanks guys.

Wow a Thousand subscribers, I would have thought with such informative and down to earth videos you would be in the hundreds of thousands by now, well done any way and looking forward to your trip around New Zealand. Maybe you should have done this before selling your motorhome but i shall look forward to your adventure, good luck. Norman from across the ditch
You're too kind Norman! We thought long and hard about whether to sell the motorhome or not but it didn't make sense for us to keep it at the moment. We still might buy another one further down the track though!
Really enjoyed your videos especially in the Motorhome, my wife and I hire our first in September with a view to buying when I retire. Be very interested if you havent yet done one.. top tips and top no nos. All the best, David
Hi David. Glad you liked the motorhome videos. We haven't done a top tips one yet. Will put it on the list! Enjoy your motorhome adventure - where are you off to? Cheers
@@kiwisonthego6712 Your map of your journey across Europe with the route on it, is a good template, we have been discussing a very similar trip for a couple of years, I currently work in Israel , but when my contract ends in 20 months...off we go. My wife is an Aussie, so we are also contemplating a similar trip there. Look forward to seeing the next adventure. all the best, David
That first bit of digging looks suspiciously like a shallow grave :-) , Is your house self build or cotractor made? A few yeasr ago the Irish had a scheme to help keep people on the land. They published a book of pre-approved plans with bills of materials estimated costs etc. Yu chose your design and got building.
Congrats. Proud to be part of you. We really missed you. Thanks for uploading this great vid. Lovely house. We love it.

Hi Ken. We designed it ourselves and Neil and a couple of friends who are builders did the construction. It was a bit of a labour of love for us!
