I'm behind due to own travelling and film making but now trying to catch up... Beautiful view and scenery from the plane! The motorhome looks comfortable for two although you had a first cold night. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day!
Great to see you on the road again it looks lovely there. That's the only problem wild camping in the winter as with your other motor home having refillable bottles you can use as much as you like
Yay...the adventure begins! Looking forward to your home travels and the winter scenery of NZ. Currently the south of the UK has been enjoying sun sun sun and 23c. My sister in Northern Ireland wet wet wet and and the heating on! But not as low as your 6 degrees! Brrrr.
love it ,,,greetings from the Rocky Mountains of SW Montana US....A beautiful summer day here I live at about 5300 feet elevation and it was a lovely sunny day never got above 72 F Snow still in the peaks and the wildflowers in full bloom
Hi I hope you are having a great adventure the motor home looks great, I used to live in Christchurch From 1976 to 1977. See you in your next video all the best.
Hey Guys loving the fact that you are back on the road, doing what you do best. We are planning on visiting NZ from Australia next year and planning on hiring a motor home. Will Probably have 4 weeks to see and do all that this amazing country has to offer. Would appreciate Any tips on researching van hire companies, travel itineraries and your suggestions! Looking forward to your travels in NZ. Please keep the videos coming. Thank you!!
Hi Dan - we're novices when it comes to the rental market but there seems to be a fair amount of choice here in terms of companies and vehicles. We went for a basic rental which sufficed but it depends on what sort of style you like to travel in! If you come here in winter it is relatively cheap to rent. The prices quadruple over summer. We loved the South Island and could easily have spent four weeks just touring around there. There's a lot of variation between north and south so you might want to see what areas appeal, depending on what time of the year you are coming. If you want majestic landscapes then the South Island has them, especially down through Fiordland. Cheers
Kiwis On The Go thank you for your reply! It is a great idea to come in Winter and that is what we are considering. Looking at a 6 berth motor home and we are into the natural beauty more so than what the city has to offer. So The South Island would be ideal place for us. Thanks again and look forward to your adventures. Cheers
Kiwis On The Go thanks guys! You are too generous. We plan to cover all of NZ but South Island seems to be the one people recommend spending more time at. Thanks again!
@@kiwisonthego6712 A laugh. We spent 6 years living there before moving back to the UK and I still have panic attacks about buying things like peppers, cucumbers, avocados, tomatoes, cheese, meat , fish etc.
Totally agree - unfortunately the heater didn't really work (the joys have renting a cheap van in winter!) but we did use the loo on board most of the time :)
Nice tour of your new home 😊 Great first morning with a view, gorgeous! 😍 Safe travels!

Enjoying your trip once again from London
Thanks :)
Beautiful spot for your 1st night. My goodness, so cold. Hope you got some heating going at the next stop. Can't wait to see more👋🏻
Thanks. Unfortunately it didn't get much warmer!
Excellent! Been waiting for this. 👍
Thanks!
Impressed with that van, very airy with all those windows. Has the look of a minibus conversion.
It was very light which we liked. Think it was made as a rental vehicle - not too many bells and whistles but perfectly okay for us!

The gas bottle was a downside but the scenery made up for it!
Have a great trip 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Thanks for that video. It will be nice to see some of New Zealand.

Cheers guys - quite envious of your warmer climes!
What happened to Your motorhome that You traveled around Europe?
We sold it on our return - although we are keen on getting a van conversion :)
For a laugh please show us the price of fresh produce in the supermarkets.
For a laugh or a cry?! So expensive here!

guys, use the gas heater and on board toilet lifes to short to suffer and to be uncompfortable at our age.
