Great review. I have the GX-31 Respect for Volt in Box version and it is Voltes V not 5. GX-31 SP is ok, but I don't like the darker look of it. He is also more readily available than the GX-71SP.

there is no chrome on the tail because of the way it combines. they didn't want it to chip off. if there was chrome, it would chip easily.

@tqlla to sit in lion mode. They made a big deal out of the black lion being able to sit like a cat. The black lion does sit in the cartoon, but i don't think anyone cares to pose him like that.
