Pit drones moving in a perfect line formation closing in for a melee is a pretty scary sight.
That volley of grenades is always so satisfying to watch

According to the game code, the damage of the sniper rifle for male assassin is purposely set to 5 instead of using actual player sniper rifle damage so that its forgiving for player to fight. Since there is only one male assassin sniper in the entire campaign. Male assassins do not have shotgun variant and their head does not receive headshot damage due to wrong hitbox number for the head
That's good information right there. If the snipers did massive damage then the game would be a little unfair.
About the headshot part, no wonder they felt more bullet spongy compared to the vanilla HL1 grunts. It's also the reason why I never seen their headshot death animation until I used a model viewer.
I've noticed that i can't headshot black ops males either when i played recently,is there a way to fix that?
@@montero363 its a mdl error. You can change its head hitbox from 0 to 1

@@montero363 Jed's HLMV can't do that. You can do that with Solokiller's HLMV or HLAM

Would be great if in Hard Stats, AI would use their weapons in auto-mode and not in burst mode
Snipers deal less damage of 15. Player fires at 100 instead.

The pit drones Are scarY,they just tear them apart!I can imagine them screaming in pain as they get mangled and torn
The rifles can only fire 1 bullet a time, similar to crossbows from black mesa and HL2, they need to reload for a few secs before you can fire again
