hey impressive. i used your 3' 3" method to make the window rendering clamps and they turned out perfect. i used 1/2 inch rebar and cranked out 40 of them in one afternoon. i also used your method to render out the window. hardest part was getting straight boards to box up the opening so i used a track saw to get straight edges on some used 3/4 inch ply that i had. whole thing turned out perfect and could not be happier. window company said the opening needs to be half inch wider on the vertical and horizonal so that the window can be situated in there properly in case the opening isnt perfect. thanks man!!!
@@impressive_builders its a lot of work man, the top takes up half the time but the sides and the bottom are really easy. i think the trick with the top is knowing when to start floating it with the wood float. if you float it too early it will come loose and fall back down..
@lobsta1124 that's right I always thin out the top so I don't have alot to flash and that makes the rendering dry very fast the top is always technical but you will get use to it after a while and it will become easier as you go along
