      I agree with those who have said to ignore the critical comments. Anyone who's making a comment about your voice is most likely just looking to find something negative, and probably has a critical spirit, which will never be satisfied. Pray they begin to feel the love of God in their hearts, so they are not critical of others anymore, because they feel love themselves, but move on otherwise.

    I'm not a young woman. I have already raised my children, and I help with my grandchildren. When I was a young mother most people didn't have cell phones. There were no helpful RUclips videos. I would have benefited so much from these type videos. I enjoy watching cleaning and decluttering videos, and have benefitted so much from them. This is my first time seeing you. I think you have a lovely voice and personality, and really good tips.

    I make the bed because I need a clean and tidy surface to fold and sort the laundry on. We tidy the kitchen after each meal and completely every night before going to shower and bed. It makes mornings waaaay easier. Another easy habit is wiping down the shower walls every few days while you’re already in there. We wipe down the toilets daily and it only takes a second. They get a good scrub on the weekend. Good video, thank you!

    I’m not quite “here” yet - but I totally agree with every single tip. We tend to over complicate things… and each of these is quite task (like Laundry, so many steps) but if as a rule of thumb we just try our best to keep up with these things, life will be easier.

    • @kassyeichele
      @kassyeichele  2 месяца назад

      Whenever things are crazy or you have a lot going on, I would scale back to just the bare necessities. Keep the kitchen clean (you can get paper plates and plastic silverware to help) and keep up with the laundry as much as you can, but don't worry about anything else.
      If you have a day at home, you could do the essentials like the bathrooms, but don't stress yourself out about needing to clean everything.

    I would say this:
    -Only have expectations for others (I.e. your family) that you have for yourself first.
    -Clutter. I don’t need to say more.
    -Require children to cleanup after themselves (if they’re 5+). A mother is not a house slave.
    -Wash laundry less!! (I have a friend who “can’t keep up with laundry” who washes her towels after every use.)
    -The tidiness of your house should be to please yourself and your family, not have guests approve of you.

    Making bed I heard is bad because it keeps dead skin cells and bed bugs etc. Covered in all that moisture...thoughts?

    • @kassyeichele
      @kassyeichele  2 месяца назад

      Hmmmm... I've never had an issue with bed bugs so I don't think making the bed causes them 🤷‍♀️ As far as the dead skin, I don't think not making the bed would get dead skin off of the bed. As in, I think you would have to wash the sheets to get the dead skin off, not just leave the bed un-made. So I think washing the bedding on a weekly or bi-weekly basis would be a better solution to both bedbugs and dead skin than leaving the bed unmade. But that's just my thoughts 😄
