dude just thank you so much for being straight to the point and just focusing on the lesson. so many videos these days are bogged down in total bullshit and the videos needlessly lengthened and complicated to make it last longer. great job. I needed that little slide from the main riff and should've spent a bit longer trying to figure it out! so simple and great!
That was incredibly helpful, you are amazing at taking something rather complex and turning it into something much simpler and easier to understand. Thank you so much!
Great! My band wants to cover this and you just saved me more time than I can even begin to thank you for! Your comprehensive teaching style is something to be appreciated.
Great lesson, thanks. I think the chord you write as Dbm7#5 would much more easily understood as an Asus2/C#- in other words, one of SD's patented mu-major chord voicings with the 3rd on the bottom. And given that the chorus is in a sharp key (A major), I find it a lot easier to think of the Dbm/Gb as a C#m/F#.
Thanks for this -- it's really great and helpful. Just a comment on that beautiful opening C13 chord. I hear the 13th played as G# --> A, so starting with pinky on the G# as a grace note going to the A. It's tricky to do that and still keep the top C ringing but I am sure I am hearing Larry C do that! cheers!
Brilliant lesson - thanks! I wonder if you worked on the Rhodes solo part - especially what I call the "stop chords"? They are the three chords at the end of each solo section. I worked them out as: Asus4/A#, G6/D, Absus4/A#, and Ebsus4/F, Bm/A, Eb11/F I'd be interested to see if you thought those were right :)
Thanks. Much more realistic arrangement for playing the context of a band. Playing the upper part of the chords is better. I also looked at another arrangement for solo acoustic which I took into account what the keyboard and bass would be doing. Both interesting.
Amazing!! Have you heard of Sessions? I think you will kill it there! You stand out as an individual performer. Your voice is amazing! I just messaged you, let’s connect!

@@bobbyjarvisjr9818 good stuff - here's a wee note of the voicings I came up with: ruclips.net/video/zGOF5vPo7oo/видео.html

Awesome playing, but how do you get this pass the copyright filter?
It's not monetised so i think no problems?
Amazing!!
