you have a government that creates a school system that you have to pay school fees for and then the same government is giving out scholarships to pay these school fees, wtf?
Well done AU team, when the rest of the media houses are focused on nonsense, please lead the way. What a shame for Kenya, especially both levels of government. Two years of politics, and people are suffering. A village with no single graduate, no health facilities, no doctors, and no school, only God can save 254.
We know who are to blame for all this poverty and suffering. And we are too afraid to call them out. After those people destroy their land, they come to Nairobi and live like kings
The people of Lamu should stand up and fight the terrorists, though have not seen so much men featured in the documentary do they cross the border and join the militants?
Thanks for the story, it's sad, the gov should train and arm the locals to defend themselves from the bad guys that is if the gov can't secure the area, but it's a risky affair, many will abuse the power, it's for the gov to decide and commit assurance for peace which will result in the prosperity of the area
I have always thought that the NFD region should be voted out of Kenya and either be autonomous or join Somalia. Imagine from independence the regions have never been peaceful with the shifta wars and now shabaab. There is no economic value of NFD, in fact that vast area has been a drain to Kenyan Gdp. The British made sure to sabotage their colonies to ensure that they can cause civil wars whenever they see fit with the way they cunningly drew the borders
so unfortunate that this happening to Kenyan citizens over 60 years after independence. even with the introduction of county govts, this is sad. you wonder if sha/shif exist here
imagine that this region has a Governor, senator, woman rep, mp and MCA. Yaani all these leaders earning huge salaries and allowances for doing nothing. Iko haja gani kuwe na county na hakuna hospitali na shule?
Altogether heartbreaking …. But …. I cannot help thinking that those young girls have no business getting pregnant and having to care for a child when they are not even in a position to help themselves.
Thank you for giving a voice to the voiceless. This is sad
Aisha's story is so sad. As a mother of twins, I can't imagine the pain she is going through. May God give her peace 😢
So sad😢
Thank you for giving a voice to this people
Such important work you do 🎉 🎉
We've basically abandoned these people. Wow.
big up AFRICA UNCENSORED , Great Content
A well done documentary, keep it up
My heart goes out to Aisha and the people of Boni. What can I do a fellow countryman?
Unfortunately we have greedy leaders led by commander of greediness. So sad that over 60years of independence most areas in Kenya are underdeveloped
This is what journalism is .
I'm from the Kenyan Highlands and i feel for this marginalised people we need a radical Shift as a Country
Its painful stories of Lamu people my home county hope one day God will come for our rescue
I can't even keep on watching this anymore

This is so sad and disheartening. While the leaders in these areas spend most of their time in Nairobi. Shame on them

We know who are to blame for all this poverty and suffering. And we are too afraid to call them out. After those people destroy their land, they come to Nairobi and live like kings
Kassongo alisema SHA inawork😢
Ruto and his allies should face immediate justice for loss of lives of both born and the unborn.
Great story
It's the saddest story I have to watch today. Devolution isn't helping the health sector in the majority of counties, Lamu being one.
My GOD!!!!!!😢
Another Classic feature
The people of Lamu should stand up and fight the terrorists, though have not seen so much men featured in the documentary do they cross the border and join the militants?
Devolution seems not to be working on these sides, the question is, where does the money go?
