He’s our best player. I hope people recognize his scoring sacrifice, this team needs an elite playmaker more than anything else and he’s done it. While defending and rebounding at an elite level. Yes he is our best scorer, don’t get it twisted, he’s just taking on a diff, more important role. He is our best player.
Idk what you're talking about. Scoring sacrifice? He shot the most. Shot it 16 times just to score 16 points. Playmaking? He turned the ball over 6 times!!! Is he the best player? I think so too. But he didn't play it. He was so bad. Stop glazing him. Someone needs to tell him to step up. At least be good not awful. He was shit. It is fortunate that brown and tingus were so efficient and kyrie was even worse than tatum otherwise it would have been a different result. burnaboi2 Agreed. Tatum's gravity and pass first mentality is the driving force of the Celtics' offense. He may not be the most "outstanding" player every single night, but his value to the team is absolute. Can't wait to see him drop 30+ tomorrow night and hoist that Finals MVP in a couple weeks.

Watching Tatum mature and turn into a passer some games is just beautiful! He fell in love with the passing, it feels just as good as scoring!
Scoring less than 20 doesn’t mean a bad game. He was the leader, the playmaker that let his team get the best looks so they can all score efficiently, instead of 2 or 3 players scoring efficiently. The opposite of what Luka did for his team last night. Tatum learned that n now he’s executing that🔥 plus dawg led the entire floor in rebounds n assists. N made the most 3 pointers that game. He might not get MVP, but he gon get his team a chip, incoming top 5 player
But he has to play better, having 6 Turnovers is not gonna cut it, specially right after Kidd adjustment, at least cut those Turnovers to 2 with 4-5 ast is okay

Other than the turnovers, I thought he played great. We don't necessarily need him to score a lot to win, with how stacked this team is. He just needs to have a good all-around game and we're golden...

All of the haters expect him to put up 50 points a game. If he doesn’t, they cry overrated and say he’s getting carried by his team. (Last I checked basketball is a team sport) Do they not realize that despite him not having a sh ton of points we still won in dominating fashion? Do they not realize that the entire team is capable of scoring and he’s not required to put up a million shots? We are the most hated team, but we’re really about to be public enemy number one when we’re champs😁 Celtics in 4☘️

Give credit where credit is due, this young all star is giving up the ball for the better shot. He is literally putting his career stats on the line in a time where you are examined for even breathing. He’s forgoing all media scrutiny for the sake of his team and ultimately winning. JT deserves to be mentioned in Celtic lore, he’s all in to win. We hang banners nothing more nothing less, beef green.

Have to give him prompts, just like Brown, he is finally realizing that in order to win, it must take a team effort because everyone in the team can get you buckets. It is when you are a soldier of one that you lose, just take a look at Luka, he had the most points in the game, but it only got him a fat L. Tatum and Brown must continue to play with a team mentality, because sure both can give you 30pts to 40pts like Luka, but they rather give you great defense and spread the offense around to keep the Mavs guessing.
Does anyone know the shoes brand on JT’s feet?

not a great game but not a bad one either. one BIG critique i have for him please stop turning the ball over. he lowkey gave me 2022 finals memories with those 6 TOs. he lucky we blew them out bc once the mavs make adjustments and hes still turning the ball over we’re fucked. i would like to see him be more aggressive bc there were a lot of times where he had great 1 v 1 matches but he passed them up WAYY too much. jt luka got nothing on you go embarrass his slow ass‼️‼️ take lively to the rim take em all. im gonna fucking kick myself in the head for doing this but look at jb. didnt have the best game had 22 points but still showed people hes still dangerous and still present by driving to the rim and was efficient. he never completely took himself out the game. jt needs to do that more. i aint asking for 25+ every night and rightfully so. but 16 points going 6-16?? that aint gonna cut it man. if he had 16 points on like 7-10 shooting im cool with that. didnt do too much yet was still efficient and aggressive. but 6-16?? nah man it could cost us. good game from him no harm no foul but that shooting and TOs has got to be better💯
