But I also think there may be some percentage who understand its all fake but join in anyway as a tribal rallying cry, a tribalistic bid for power. In this aspect it doesn't matter whether a thing is true or not only whether it benefits the tribe.
As far as Mike Pillow goes I think he knows what the shot is. If the gamble works and Trump regains power, he hopes he will be rewarded mightily. Far in excess of any of his current business losses.
I could be wrong. Mike could be totally nuts. That's also possible. But I still see a level of rationality, however nefarious, in his presentation.

I’m an AZ voter and former card-carrying R who has voted against Trump and radical right since 2016 in every election. What’s happening to our country and the division election deniers are causing saddens and sickens me. The vocal objections and perceived election irregularities people like Mike Pillow are spewing fail to take into account the legions of voters like me who choose to let their voice be heard through free and fair elections. Results have shown repeatedly that even in formerly red states like AZ, the majority does not support the lies and toxic hate speak coming from the desperate minority right.
It's really nasty that Lindell is being taken advantage of by these people who know that he isn't well, yet put him on their shows, invite him to events and just let him ramble on. Steve Bannon doesn't believe a word this man says but he wants people to keep being riled up and possibly believe what Lindell is saying.

Kari Lake says she is going to go to court but so far I haven’t heard that she has.

Basic fact-checking can determine whether there is sufficient evidence to support a claim, or whether it's of uncertain validity or out-and-out whackjob conspiracism. If either of the latter is true, the item in question shouldn't be put before the public. Failure on behalf of the media company to conduct basic due diligence could be assessed by official independent watchdogs and the offending broadcaster/publisher censured where appropriate.
We can no longer afford to give an open field to bull$hitters to influence public opinion.
