I worked with a man whose early 20's hay days were early 1960's growing up in rural Ohio He told me about side projects in the shop during the winter. He and a few buddies would build winter projects cars to run in the woods like you were doing in this video. They would take an old car remove the drive shaft, cut the frame and body out so the back of the transmission touched the front of the rear differential. Weld it back together, no wires, no brake lines, no back seat just engine power to rear wheels and front brakes. He said they would race them through the woods, spin them in circles, crash, roll and repeat. Looking back he said he doesn't know how he lived through it with no serious injuries.
