My daughter bought me an Adventurer 5M for my 72nd birthday. It arrived today and before finding my box cutter I found this channel. I'm a total novice and know nothing about 3d printing. THANKYOU! I subscribed to your channel and now I'm ready to go and play.
Hopefully, with this 3d printer it is easier to start than with ender 3. With ender 3 I've got countless problems. Also, my wife want to change this printer even she have never print anything yet, she just has been seen my effort.
You are absolutely right, the machine cost 400 bucks, you set it up in 10 min. It´s as simple to use as a coffee machine or any other household appliance. You don´t need to tinker and change any settings at all. It prints with 300mm/sec which I mean wow my printer from end of 2019 prints with about 50mm/s. You get pressure advance, vibration compensation and all that. This really is insane. FDM ist as plug and play as a coffee machine. This truly is incredible.
Just picked this up for $299 shipped. can't wait to see what it is like. I returned my Elegoo Neptune 4 that for some reason after a month started having all kinds of issues. I am hoping this will be better out of the box
@@LiquidGas0 Its a great printer and at $299 honestly theres nothing as good. My only complaint is that it doesnt work with Cura or Prusa and is limited to eirher Orca or Flashprint

thoughtful/kind of you to mute the sound while you unwrap the plastic!! Having had a brain hammerridge, I really appreciate it. Nice printer..but i'm a kind of in love with Klipper-Fluid now, running on my Aquila
It should be easy to enclose with (transparent, dampening or insulating) materials of your choice + put the spool accessible; except the top would need a) to be really high or b) constraint for reverse bowden and wires with with e.g. cable chain (without making too tight curves). Print height is not great, but otherwise, looking forward to how it feels after a week of using 👍
I just looked at the website page for the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro specs and it has a Auto Shut Off feature you can set on or off in the menu. I never seen that on any printer I've seen? Shame more don't have that option even if you have to have a firmware update to have it. The price have in the UK is good for the Pro by the company website, But the build area is too small for that money of £549.00p The Qidi X Plus 3 has bigger printing area and only works out £40 more than the 5M Pro. Plus heated chamber in the Qidi. If I can save the money I going for the Qidi Tech X-Plus 3 as I need a fast enclosed printer for ABS which I can't do on any of the open framed Bed Printers I have now and they are all slow. I am still trying to find the Klipper.bin file for a Elegoo Neptune 3 Max. I found the Printer.config file for it but need that Klipper file too to get the Pad 7 to talk to the printer and for me to install Klipper on the printer? Anyone know where to get that Klipper.bin file for the Elegoo Neptune Max?
I really hope they will open up klipper+fluidd soon. I already emailed them about it, but they said they have no plans. I really want to install KAMP and just overall have more control. Right now you pretty much can't monitor it and change machine settings at all.
Man, I didn’t get any Cool Prints built in..Just came with Key chain and an Ice-cream cone.. I don’t like the TOS for Flash Print(under stated)Not a Bit... Its Orwellian. Until You Get The enclosure, Magnets and Poster Board/paper work Great to HELP with keeping The temp stable, Keep Drafts from Wafting through and a bit With the Fan Noise( if that’s an issue for you)..Rad🤙🏻
My AD5M just arrived, easy unboxing + 10min +/- of calibration. Very nice printer! The model on the sdcard are fast & very clean....To be honest, I'm surprised about flashforge on this one. better than my bambu lab which is a decoration because of their recall about the heatbed cable XD
Difference between 5M & 5M Pro is also the additional huge cooling fan on the Pro which is missing on the non pro version. I hope the part cooling does not suffer too much this way. One single 5015 might be not enough for 300mm/s
@@3DPrintSOS ye i suspect they will do that, but is no question klipper, also it seems they have a basic web panel control i still did not found the correct port for it.
I have never experienced an Elegoo machine first hand (yet) but I would go for this structure over a cartesian H bot. Sturdy, well-built. The rest, we can kind of work out. But the general build and motion is just better. Plus the space required.
Is it possible to change only the nozzle without the heatbreak? It seems very expensive to change everytimes the heatbreak because of a nozzle replacement :(

How’s the switch to the flashforge so far? I know it hasn’t been that long but I’m about to do the same.

Were you able to use the stock board for klipper? Mine will not work with klipper

Its Klipper, i just decompiled their fw and its klipper... but seems they not using moonraker or fluidd/mainsail.
I asked them directly and they skirted around the question.

Next up metal 3D printing. I really would love to get my hand on the Iro3D but it´s 5k. Cheap for a home metal printer but still expensive.

Don´t use LACK table use the PLATSA Ikea system, is much better and slightly bigger.
