With this news, I’m thinking of arranging a family outing to Lansing in our Bolt - getting blueberry pancakes - and a cheap DC charge - in Walter’s honor. We’re only 100 miles away from there - yum!
Very informative and thanks for these updates! Some info relating to wondering why PFJ is not initiating the construction process until they find out which sites received NEVI funding. The 'strings attached' to federal and some state funding increases requirements on contract administration. NEVI also has specific requirements to be met in order to receive reimbursements. I'm wondering if the reason PFJ is waiting is to only add those requirements to contracts for the sites that receive NEVI funds.
This is absolutely crazy, three times at least mentioning yummy blueberry syrup and yummy blueberry pancakes and so I had blueberry frosted pop tarts last night and several handfuls of fresh blueberries yesterday afternoon. Thank you thank you dear man.
Thanks, Walter! Call me an optimist, but I definitely think they can finish the initial build by the end of the year. I have my doubts whether everything will be powered on by December 31, but my guess is, all the construction will have been completed.
Good point. However, if history is a guide, they said they would have 25 open by the end of 2023 and with a push right at the end of the year, they did! So, the same team may have a Q4 push that surprises us all. Thx 4 watching.
Thursday, I added a picture of the active construction at the Canton, OH location near I-77 to PlugShare. Can’t tell if there will be a canopy at that location yet.
My first impression is 'no', but will wait to see for sure. BTW, I was unaware of this build occurring. I will add to next update and cite you as the src. Thx very much for sharing.
I actually suspect there are several sleeper sites already in build. I have found the folks in CA do not chime into PS as much as other areas. I think it may be like Norway where no one does since chargers are all over the place, the need for PS no longer exists. I guess we will see if a bunch of sites start to open. I agree though, their work needs to commence.
Sounds like Buc-ee's needs to branch out into pancakes... not sure how that jives with a brisket sandwich but it would make for an interesting update! 🍖🥞
Welp… I prefer waffles over pancakes, Walter. But I do relish blueberry syrup! 😂 It discourages me to see that there's not even one EVGo site in my state of Utah. Bummer. At least there are some Flying J sites projected here. I've gotta say: the high prices are discouraging. It's like the electric utilities and the oil industry are battling to determine who can make the biggest profits from supplying "fuel."
Spotted another under construction at Pilot Travel Center Exit 201 off Interstate 65 in Remington, IN
I can send you pictures if you can tell me how to do it.
you can either post to PlugShare or send to my email and I can take care of that for you. my email is walter dot H dot schulze at gmail dot com
exciting!
Thanks for the update. You almost convinced me to go to Lansing, MI😊
Right? I say lets make that the new central meeting spot for all things EV!

That's my picture at the start of the video! I was surprised at the $/kWh, too.
The one with the OH governor?

Great point! I did suspect something along those lines, but you bring more details. Thanks for sharing.
Another excellent update.
Good news announcement from Consumers Energy expanding free to public charge stations🎉

IHOP is open 24/7. Very valuable.
Good for GM Energy, GM needs to push on its EV charging network capabilities
PFJ's western construction campaign should really be starting now if they want to wrap this up by the end of the year.

Did you mean harrisburg? There is a new evgo 4 stall there.
Love the canopy’s! Hope that “novel” idea spreads.
I hope so too!
GM now has access to Tesla Superchargers. Officially announced on the GM web site today.
I went and checked. It didn't work for me. I'm thinking they are going to stagger the rollout and now is only GMC, not Cadillac or chevy
@@thenetworkarchitectchannel Could be. Charged my Hummer last night and it is on the GMC Hummer web site.
Walter are any of these sites offering charging cost discounts for GM vehicles yet? Pancakes! Oh yes. Thanks for the update video sir. ⚡
No. We are still awaiting the GM discount info. All we know is it is coming. PANCAKES!
Sounds like Buc-ee's needs to branch out into pancakes... not sure how that jives with a brisket sandwich but it would make for an interesting update! 🍖🥞
I like it!
Came for the update, stayed for the delicious blueberry pancakes and blueberry syrup, so yummy 😄

Is there a link to this Google sheet?
I have been asked before. Sadly, I am not a fan of sharing Google docs. Vid is all there is currently.
My man here is obviously very hungry. Someone get him some pancakes.

I agree. The trend in DCFC pricing has been discouraging as of late and hope IONNA will bring competition to help moderate. Thx for watching.
I wonder if Walter has ever tried IHOP's blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup? I bet he might like them!
🫐🫐🫐. 🥞🥞🥞
IHOP needs to pay you for the shout-outs...I am sure you will take payment in the form of blueberry pancakes
