    Thank you. Recently I was suffering from realizing that how disrespectful I was but I didn't know what to do to change my manners. I couldn't learn this sort of things in school. This video helped me to set my directions to change. Thank you once again for showing me the way to respect others. :-)

    I appreciate the guidance on the types of responses expresses gratitude and appreciation for the positive feedback. It acknowledges the specific aspects the customer enjoyed, reinforcing the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
    Responding in this manner encourages a positive relationship with the customer and can motivate them to continue engaging with the brand.

    thank you so much for this video! I don't get why this video is so underrated when you're talking about dignity and how to respect people when It's not even taught in school. people just assume that it's common sense and don't bother to teach it to young kids when it's so important. I wish everyone in the world could respect each other, even though it's hard to do for some people but it's a skill everyone should learn.

      No doubt that's true. It's up to us to hold ourselves to a higher standard and not allow ourselves to be dragged down into the mud, mire, and muck of bad human behavior. Admittedly, that can be easier said than done!

  • @dengmathachdeng1487

    Thanks Don. I have really suffered a lot because others are not so meaning for what they say. Someone can tell me something and I believed it come to be a problem to me. Sometime people tell you to follow them but they are not worthy in what they say. What about feeling like others is that a way of respect or not?

    • @doncrawley
      @doncrawley  2 года назад

      There are two issues here. The first is the process you use to choose who to believe and who to follow. Pay more attention to their actions than their words. Also, pay attention to the people they associate with. Are their friends and colleagues decent, honest, and respectful? The second issue is how you choose to act. Always hold yourself to a high standard. Don't allow yourself to be dragged down to the level of the people who are dishonest and/or disrespectful. Look for people who are kind, thoughtful, and respectful. Good luck!

    There is no place for sarcasm in human relationships??

    • @doncrawley3478
      @doncrawley3478 4 года назад

      Not if you want to build a relationship with another person. Sarcasm can be condescending, demeaning, and belittling. The fact that many people use sarcasm, especially in IT, doesn't change how it can affect people. I tended to be pretty sarcastic in the past until I saw how it affected others. It still comes out every occasionally and the results are never positive.

    Why does every single video on this subject teach costome service agents on hiw be be respectful? I could not find one video teachimg people to teach customer service people with respect. I work customer service and get treated like a dog by people. We always get taught on respect but nobody addresses the cusomers behavior....

    • @doncrawley
      @doncrawley  6 месяцев назад

      Good question. It's a two part answer. Part one is about how you do your job and part two is about how you are as a human being. As a customer service agent, you're hired with the expectation that you'll treat customers with respect. While I agree with you that customers should treat CSAs with respect, that's a reflection of how they are as a human. What I suspect a lot of people don't realize is that, if they treat customer service providers with respect and kindness, they're more likely to get a better outcome. That's certainly been my experience! Thanks for your comment, Herman.

    Yes many bosses / coworkers / clients
    are full.of sacristic talks and fully of toxicity inside them..
    Which makes people go away from them...
    Don't be sacristic to people based on there past life
    It show the person cheap characters if some one always sacristic to other person bullying him or her based on past.
    Sign of dirty humans .
    Not good work places with such sacristic bosses people around ...

      I certainly don't feel respect for people like that. My comments are meant to suggest that we act in a respectful and dignified manner, holding ourselves to high standards of behavior, not allowing ourselves to dragged down to the level of people like you describe. My apologies that I didn't do a better job of explaining my thinking. (My thinking on this is influenced to a great extent by Viktor Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning".) Thanks for your comment.
