Once upon a time...my MiL asked me to bake a pie. I had never made pie crust before. I was newly wed. So i found all the ingredients & proceeded to make the pie crust. It was a disaster. I cried all through the attempt of making the crust. My tears went right into the crust. Then i poured the pie filling into the crust. Baked and it came out a beautful golden color. My FiL said thats the best pie crust I've ever ate. Lol. I never told them about the tears that went into the crust.

Other people’s saliva is also gross in food. NEVER put the tasting utensil back into the pot or bowl or whatever. It’s unhygienic and just downright disgusting.

Hi Marie, I haven't tried your recipe, yet, but I will in the near future. I've run across you in the past. A lot of times, I'm in a hurry and I don't think to subscribe, but tonight, I'm not in a hurry and I finally subscribed to your channel.
For a good 40 years, my sister-in-law used to make Coconut Cream Pie for Thanksgiving and Christmas dessert. We have a large extended family and so we usually have a lot of food and lots of desserts for any get together, but especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A few years back, my brother and his wife moved out of state. This past Christmas, I really missed my sister-in-law's Coconut Cream Pie. I decided then that I'm making the Coconut Cream Pie! It's March and so, I have plenty of time to make a few pies before the holidays.
You have great videos. I love that you take your time and explain a lot of things along the way. I also appreciate your helpful hints!
I don't remember what you said to write in the comments (Baking the Crust?), but I did watch it to the end, gave my "thumbs up" and subscribed.
My niece is one of those cooks that needs every little detail spelled out for her. I'm going to recommend that she watch your videos because they're very educational.
Thank you, Marie. I look forward to seeing more of your videos, past and future.

Marie, thank you for the great video. I watched the whole video...I'm going to use the crust recipe, too. My hint is: use powdered sugar in your whipped cream it has cornstarch already in it it makes your cream very stable and thick. Done it for decades really. Add your vanilla to the cream before whipping it. Thank you again. Linda😉

The information on the coconut milk, for us who've never used it before, was great. I've never made a crust. Well, I've never made a pie! I enjoyed watching the whole thing, it was worth it! Can't wait to watch more of your tutorials. Thank you.
