Pretty cool, you are so busy. 3 hrs on a bus? We always rent a car so we can take it nice and easy from WPB to KW. That way we can take in Key Largo, Islamorada, and Marathon. We have learned that shuttles from hotels are a waste of time because they fill up quickly. So we suck it up and book an Uber. We were on the Conquest and KW was the first stop in our last cruise so that was nice. Love Key West and can’t wait to go back. Thanks for sharing and look forward to future content.
Amazing that you went to Suriname just to see nature. My grandfather is from Suriname and like barely anyone knows about it. I think I want to visit now too! Were the mosquitoes bad?
That's a really neat place to be from! Suriname was great and def recommend it. Mosquitoes are only bad during and after the rainy season. I was surprised by how few insect there were even in the jungle this time of year.
Yay! Finally the Suriname video LOL By about minute 7 I was yelling at the screen and chanting Su-ri-nam Su-ri-nam LOL Curious, what route did he take from Slovenia?
I usually fly Turkish although it takes me first East to then go West. But Turkish is both cheaper and more reliable than Lufthansa, which would be the other option.
Slovenia does not have any transatlantic flight connections. While other close by airport, e.g. Venice, don't have connections with Miami. Another alternative would be going from Trst via Rome.
You're right about the beaches in NC, they are awesome. My wife and I moved to the Emerald Isle area and these beaches are fantastic. The ocean water is so warm we love it. We moved here from Oregon where the beaches are absolutely gorgeous but the water is so cold when you go into the water you will undergo sex reassignment without benefit of surgery.
I grew up going to Emerald Isle!! I know those beaches well! We used to stay by the pier and swim there. Such great memories of being in the ocean and being rolled by the waves as a kid! Ahh, the things that used to be fun!
@TheWeekendCruiser love the restaurants there too. One we really like is called Surfs Up Grill & Bar. It's on the south end. They have great food and cocktails (my wife loves the painkillers). If you get a chance, you should stop in there.

I do not cruise in the summer also. I am super allergic to children, so I avoid the summer travel season like the plague. lol
