Honestly the game is good now, has been for a while now tbf. If the game launched like this it would of been a GREAT success but it's never really recovered due to the terrible launch and probably never will unless it gets a reboot, remaster or a sequel.
I think you used to be able to gear up your crew so that if you get near you can make them board enemy ships. You can alternately have someone with a long rifle try to snipe the person steering a chasing ship.
NEVER GEAR YOUR CREW!!!! this only increases the boats overall weight and npcs die(depending on where they are) to like 2 shots either way. you just provide the enemy with more loot. To your long rifle: if the enemy has more than 2 brain cells they put their steering wheel below deck in an area youll never able to reach(even if you sink it) because the developers of this game are dogshit. you can have al your loot behind the locked doors and the enemies NEVER will be able to get the loot there.
@@HydroxXTV Can confirm this is true, but another reason the carbine is so horrendous is when you get into the later game, you can tank like 70+ shots to the head that a carbine is completely and utterly useless. The meta is to knockout, stun or powerful melee strikes before they can prop a insta heal off. On average when I was playing we carried 2 Max kits with insta switchable unlock between pike/sword or mace depending on situation and averagely brought 50+ medkits, 10 grog, 6 puddings and 4 of the 2 sets of food for longevity. As a player who's taught those los Cheetos guys aswell, boarding that vessel would be instant death to a swivel gun. Because we often hollowed out as much as possible for maximum speed
Without giving everything away I think ya'll should look into shoulder pets such as the rabbit, crow, parrot, seagulls, and your favorite the monkey. Also 8/10 ship PvP. Keep up the good work. Always entertaining.

Hey Raas, just wanted to give you a couple tips. Stick to only handling sails, they have a very wide wind catching range. Space bar-100% open sails quickly Z key-100% close sails quickly. Keeping ship weight under 30% will allow your ship max speed, anything over that starts to reduce your speed. Firespark has a really good multi-purpose pve Brig build. Meta PVP builds consist of very minimalistic Brigs with all handling sails and cannons on deck enclosed in stairs. I am really loving this series and your DOX series! Keep it up brother!

The reason that Ship caught up to you so easily is because they have upgraded sails, which actually provided them acceleration speed increased. if I caught it correctly they had a 119% additional. which there was no chance to escape no matter what you did. To explain the sails, you can customize your sails; Handling Sails have a wider arc of Wind and can sail in a larger angle against the Wind. Speed Sails are the faster Primitive Sails however when it comes to best overall top speed, 125% Handling Sails are the best. Weight Sails allow your Ship to carry additional weight with less penalty for being overweight. :) again Blueprinted Items in Atlas are by far the best way to go because of the tremendous benefits.
To tame every creature that are smaller than a bear, u can place a cage on them and they will stay stucked :) U should tame elephant, girafe and rhino to farm to build everything

Not sure if you know but they have a bait barrel now. It went from excruciatingly hard to tame to super easy. Not sure why they made it this easy but if you have their kibble equivalent you can just tame them without getting hit now.
Before they think about any BPs they need to get the basics down....he didnt even know he had the "cannons out" during the chase,wich makes him 10-30% slower already, their npcs were on aggressive and he didnt know etc etc... there is no way they should jump to endgame...they will get sunk even if they would be able to cheat and get DOUBLE of whats usually possible in cannons/sails/planks. They just dont have the experience yet..... This is a battle 2ships(of ours) vs 5enemy ships. Our captains are soooo sooo much more experience than theirs..... you see how it ends..... ye but its worse for casuals unfortunately. In ark youre like what 5v3? 5v1? ive been in battles 20v2 etc.... unfortunately mass is king here. The good part: Even as a pve bob like me, i can easily contribute to pvp too. We were the nr 1 company in season...5 i think with The Ancient Mariners and I was their breeder->No pvp dude at all but with my breeding in general and my riding/swivel gun skills i was able to contribute loads still :)
Raasclark, are you playing this server with a bunch of friends or is it a public server. For example, was that guy on that red ship a whitelisted guy on the server or is it just simply open to the public?
Unless ypur definitely going to fight....keep your Canon ports closed but it is PvP so more than likely if they've been playing alot your kinda scrued 🤣🤣🤣 Try and Make Alliances to trade for better Ship parts....Sails, Cannonsand Planks!! Also dont keep alot of Gold on the Ship so that way its Safe!! GREAT CONTENT!! and I agree a bit longer would be Sweet!! 😀👍💯♥️♥️♥️
And dont worry youl learn how to tame in ark(one Season i had to tame a couple of tigers and lion, with no stuff and just a cow i had to fight to try tame those with a good lvl and the Island had a high Spawn rate with 5 Tigery or lion going to eat me every 5 min)
It's one of the real downsides to Atlas tbh, you either join a big company of sweats and become just another cog, or you get steamrolled as a byproduct of their conquests across the servers.

But they settled on an island of a "semi good" company, so they have friends and enemies, and if youre in the way of a land pvp battle youre get wiped as if you are the main company that owns that island. Especially as we as "sweatlord company" dont know if you are a settler or a sub-company of the main one. (We usually had 1-2 people from our company that have a second atlas account and make a child-company. Why you may ask? Usually for 2 things: 1. Put 300 lions/tigers/bears into that company fill their inventory with 300 water bags so their inventory is slot capped-> put them on aggressive -> and now each time they would farm meat 30%(taxes) goes into the flag. Passive leather,keratinoid and meat farm :) Now you might think: dont they starve? nope, allied animals eat from allied feeding throughs :) 2. FarmingHouses->Same principle as the meat... FarmHouses do get taxed too->instead of needing to collect 10 times a day to get wood/metal you just go to your flag and 30% is already in the flag passively :D

Should always use primitive bow while taming and those boats are faster because they have mythical sails and can go in any direction
and Probably Mythical Planks and Cannons as well!!
Gotta get a diving suit attachment for the ship to get the ship wrecks! Sharks will ignore you too when in them, unless you attack them.
I love Ark but Atlas has a especial place in my heart. So many great memories as a solo and with company 💯👍🏼
