Spitting Image is a British satirical television puppet show, created by Peter Fluck, Roger Law and Martin Lambie-Nairn. First broadcast in 1984, the series was produced by 'Spitting Image Productions' for Central Independent Television over 18 series which aired on the ITV network. In March 2020 the show returned on streamer BritBox featuring 100 new puppets, the series debuted on 3 October 2020. It was renewed for a second series four days later. The second series premiered on 11 September, 2021.

It's disappointing how ITV decided to cancel the reboot and not renewing it for the third series that would've been the arrival of President Joe Biden and the struggles of the short-lived Prime Minister, Liz Truss rather than leaving us with their upcoming stage show, The Liar King by next year.
