I bouught the Arctic Care but I might return since its unpoened in the box and get the Danby...dunno...

There's a problem with the blower wheel (fan) in the unit I owe. It's made of very cheap plastic and basically shattered. I changed it after spending hours on line trying to find the right replacement. Anyway, I replaced it, which was a real pain. There were like 35 screws to remove and once the cover was remove the fan wheel was easy to replace. I did so with the replacement that I bought. Of course it was made of the same cheap plastic. This one has lasted 6 months. These fan wheels are so cheap they actually shatter and should be recalled. If you didn't know what was happening when these cheaply made fan wheels shatter, there is a real possibility you could get hurt. Like getting your eye put out, etc. Gee, other than that it worked OK. Of course, it's 3 years and 3 months old and had a 2 year warranty. I wouldn't recommend this unit. It should be recalled!
