The fj44 is quite reasonable, and should have been on the real vision jet, as it adds only 300lbs and comes with many benefits, but anything bigger is unreasonable for dynamical and weight reasons. The empty weight of the sf50 is 3500lbs. The fj33 is 300lbs, the fj44 is 670lbs, the ae3007 is 1650lbs, and the cfm56 is 4300lbs.
The FJ33, FJ44-3AP, and FJ44-4 are all geometric scales of each other. So an intermediate choice is the FJ44-3AP (~530lb weight says wikipedia) for ~3000lb thrust, or if you don't care about engine life, pushing the FJ33 to the same power settings as the FJ44-4M.
Makes me wonder why they didn't make a VisionTwin with two FJ33's which would have given it fairly decent performance, and it would probably still have been compact. Maybe the range would have been too compromised? Not suited for pilots without a multi engine rating?
5:27 The AE3007 was originally developed by the Allison Engine Company of Indianapolis, Indiana. At the time, Allison was a subsidiary of General Motors. The AE in the designation simply stands for "Allison Engine". Allison was acquired by Rolls-Royce in 1997 and was re-named Rolls-Royce North America. The original names of the Allison product line were retained after the acquisition by RR, hence why the engine is still called the AE3007.
Ideas for next video SR-71 engine (private jet is for fast destinations) Tu- 95 counter-rotating prop (just because sounds terriyfing) Spaceshuttle first stage engine (for the enviroment because it only uses hydrogen and oxygen)
My professor was one of the lead aerodyamists on the Vision Jet (hes now the cheif engineer at Cirrus), and he was glad that won the Collier Award for aerospace excellence over the 737 Max
Finally Mr 001 mentioned his race to NY documentary. For that race The Xp cook Austin did put a lot of work on his Drive gear selection in order to succeed.
You got the short straw when you got stuck with the Cirrus Jet. Austin rigged that race as you certainly knew going in that you weren't going to beat his Lancair unless it broke down.
Hi Swiss, I would like to see your next video on rfs, it has developed so much since you left. It's community is dying. You can revive it with just one video.
If you put bigger engine you MUST to increase the swept of the wings (and make them longer along the way) Otherwise too much of the wing area will cross the speed of sound what thia wing is not design to wistand
@@Eritini. the aircraft needs to be really small and have a high MTOW to be able to be able to have a parachute big enough to slow the aircraft’s fall, and a small aircraft isn’t very profitable, and a parachute on an aircraft like the 737 will need to be really big, will need a place to be stowed on the aircraft, and will need to be really light weight, and all things mentioned aren’t really possible for aircraft built by Boeing.
From time code 11:14 to 11:28, notice how the ortho-water flickers under the aircraft in XP12. I see the same issue. It drives me batty. I reported this to Laminar Research back on Aug 26, 2023 as an XP12 bug. It does not happen in XP11. Still not fixed.

Petition for swiss to put a ge90 on a cirrusjet
*Y E S*
the ge 9x
Trent 1000 too
Put it on yourself fr
Perfect. Just perfect.
Finally, someone fixed it, as it was quite depressing

The plane in the thumbnail looks straight up like a He-162
5:56 lol the look of that jet😂😂
Ah yes, Swiss doing free work for Cirrus 😂
Next Swiss001 video: I put a Ge9x into
Cirrus jet!
Put it onto an Aerolight
It’ll be a hilarious idea 💀
My professor was one of the lead aerodyamists on the Vision Jet (hes now the cheif engineer at Cirrus), and he was glad that won the Collier Award for aerospace excellence over the 737 Max
try the GE90
no comment two:Swiss001 After a week:I made a one engine Boeing 747-8(100 200 300 400 SCA Sp vc25 e4 Dreamlifter SOFIA Supertanker)
Finally Mr 001 mentioned his race to NY documentary. For that race The Xp cook Austin did put a lot of work on his Drive gear selection in order to succeed.
He says “now everybody” SO fast in the beginning of his videos and it kills me 😂
Hey Swiss! i've got an idea on how to fix the an-225!
put ge90s on it
6 GE90s is hilarious 💀💀
@@itrollspeed_56 and then put another set of 6 ge90's on the top of the wing💀
Put a JT8D on that thing it would look seamless lmao
Yay You fixed the vision jet
Its rare that a flight sim video makes me laugh so much and here it is! Lol at the CFM on the VJ, cant for for 4 X GE90 lol!
3:02 A340 territory 😂
You got the short straw when you got stuck with the Cirrus Jet. Austin rigged that race as you certainly knew going in that you weren't going to beat his Lancair unless it broke down.
I honestly like this plane
Finally back watching this man again 🙏
When I saw the title. The thumbnail wasn’t loaded but I knew instantly that it would have an oversized engine. That’s Swiss001 for you
3:48 bro took double numberplates to the next level
Love your content Swiss❤️👍 That Boeing 737-200 aah reverse thruster would be a pain for maintenance😂
Next video idea: Two ge90s on a Cessna 172
The stratos jet (if they actually end up building them) is like the sf50 but like actually good specs
They should put two engines on the wings on the downside then make the suspension higher
I’m getting flashbacks to the A340 upgrade
yeah
So when is swiss ordering one to beat austin's evolution?
I like flying it over everest in xplane.. and just barely skidding over picturing the climbers horrified faces..
Please put a Cirrus Vision SF50 engine onto a 747
Put it on yourself
@@British919why not you huh
See how many it takes to make it flyable
@@JellyCider bro it’s just a test
@@British919 I am just making a suggestion for a video. Ps: He hearted my comment, so your´s won´t have any relevance.
Hey I almost got middaired by a vision jet near Sedona! Good memories :)
6:03 that can literally take off from SABA
Next: Rolls Royce UltraFan on the cirrusjet
For your next video try to fly the 747 with turboprop engines
Hi Swiss, I would like to see your next video on rfs, it has developed so much since you left. It's community is dying. You can revive it with just one video.
Hey Swiss, IPACS released the a321-200 to aerofly not to long ago, can you do a review on it?
GE90 on the Dash 8 Q400? Maybe add an RB211 on the top for good measure?
Swiss I have an idea: try and power a plane with only the APU from a bigger plane (you can mod them)
Swiss can u make a video on the ATL100/300
Pilots of this plane going to have their ears bleeding even with headsets… they better also hope it doesn’t have an explosive engine failure 👀
If you put bigger engine you MUST to increase the swept of the wings (and make them longer along the way)
Otherwise too much of the wing area will cross the speed of sound what thia wing is not design to wistand
yes! should have simulated that in the first place. I mean i already had the swept wing modelled...
We a GE90😂
Hi everyone let's start a petition for Swiss to put GE90 engines on a cessna! 👇
I personally think that the Vision Jet would be fixed by replacing that jet engine with a pusher-style turboprop engine
If the issue is take off speed the issue isnt drag. The issue would be mostly power
It's a mini Airbus A340-300!
Boeing should implement parachutes in their planes.
Not really possible.
@@EmeryE2 it could be with new models. I don't see any real problems with adding them.

Day 31 of asking Swiss to review the new A380 in Infinite Flight
Can you do 747with only 1 engine?
one time I made it a rocket engine and it was stoopid. way to much power. hi Swiss!!
Phenom 100 doesnt have swept wings too and flies mach 0.7
mathematically proving the cirrus visionjet's low performance is very austin (in a good way LOL)
how bout Strato Jet 716? Looks similar to Cirrus Jet too
Day 15 asking Swiss to make the most powerful airliner
He needs to
How did you get the plane to explode like that? I just get a black screen when I crash.
Petition to put a SpaceX Merlin engine on a Cirrus SR22
When you see the video start in xplane you know something is about to be ruined
He basically ended up with a V1 in the end
love the vid
You keytag is so expensive, I could buy 2L of fuel in the UK and still have £1 saved!
stopping kids from saying first from staying stopping kids from saying first.
That makes no sense. I think you meant, "Stopping kids from stopping kids from saying, 'first' ".
I need some help, what program should I install to review my landings and how to see my fpm?

Now put the Williams International FJ33 engine to the 737
This is what X plane was for in the 90s… test plane designs
Not joking, the fj44 shouldve been the engine on the SF50
It didn't even look bad with the FJ44 on it
SF-50 with 1 CFM56 is very ridiculous 💀💀💀💀💀
yay
Is this XP12.1B?
Try flying different planes at an f1 track lmao💀💀
What flight sim is that?
Hey, Swiss. The Xplane 12 12.1.0 Beta is out, would be cool when you Check it out. With the new Sparks Tailstrikes Looks was better
