The fj44 is quite reasonable, and should have been on the real vision jet, as it adds only 300lbs and comes with many benefits, but anything bigger is unreasonable for dynamical and weight reasons. The empty weight of the sf50 is 3500lbs. The fj33 is 300lbs, the fj44 is 670lbs, the ae3007 is 1650lbs, and the cfm56 is 4300lbs.
The FJ33, FJ44-3AP, and FJ44-4 are all geometric scales of each other. So an intermediate choice is the FJ44-3AP (~530lb weight says wikipedia) for ~3000lb thrust, or if you don't care about engine life, pushing the FJ33 to the same power settings as the FJ44-4M.
Makes me wonder why they didn't make a VisionTwin with two FJ33's which would have given it fairly decent performance, and it would probably still have been compact. Maybe the range would have been too compromised? Not suited for pilots without a multi engine rating?

@@Eritini. the aircraft needs to be really small and have a high MTOW to be able to be able to have a parachute big enough to slow the aircraft’s fall, and a small aircraft isn’t very profitable, and a parachute on an aircraft like the 737 will need to be really big, will need a place to be stowed on the aircraft, and will need to be really light weight, and all things mentioned aren’t really possible for aircraft built by Boeing.

From time code 11:14 to 11:28, notice how the ortho-water flickers under the aircraft in XP12. I see the same issue. It drives me batty. I reported this to Laminar Research back on Aug 26, 2023 as an XP12 bug. It does not happen in XP11. Still not fixed.
