  • Our weekend camping trip to Coleman Lake was met with an interesting twist that we did not plan on. The horse camp only added to the adventure!
In this video I do an initial trial of the CANWAY stick stove. Every fire is an opportunity to practice our skills so I used this little stove and its first fire to cook up a cup of sassafras tea. I'm looking forward to many fires in this little stove.
Outdoor adventure in the Lower Alabama woods and waters.

I've always dried my root out for a few days. After seeing you boil it fresh, I'm thinking of trying it that way next time I find a root

Those little gasifier stoves are so awesome. I have a Canway as well with a little different top and I love it! Looks like a great trip!

@@DavidKralikOutdoors I am also really looking forward to Fishpond Lake. I did a video on my stove and a guy said that it was like a "bonfire in a can". I tend to believe that to be accurate.

@@inthewoodswithbigfoot3941 I still had flames at 15 minutes. At 30 minutes there were enough coals in the can to catch small twigs on fire. Purely amazing.

@@DavidKralikOutdoors They burn so very efficiently and leave only fine ash if you let them burn out. Yes, they are amazing!
