I once wrote her a letter when I was younger and left my phone number to respond, not expecting much to happen, but a couple weeks later she called! It was really cool, I now can say that I’ve talked to carol Burnett on the phone
Tim Conway is adorable. What an act 😂
My favorite Tudball/Wiggins skit!! Being able to see Carol LIVE on stage was a lifelong dream for me and having her SIGN my FIRST EDITION of "One More Time" that I scored at GOODWILL (of all places) is the cherry on top of the best sundae ever.
Mrs. Wiggins was, there are no words. Funny doesn't begin to explain this character. Iconic? Not close, she surpassed Iconic long ago. Carol's characters are ETERNAL! They will never be forgotten or lost in the mix of sketch comedy. She CREATED sketch comedy. Her work with this show created a genre, or a type of comedy that transcends just laughter. She created characters that you not only LOVED, related to, laughed with and at, and just enjoyed everytime she came on TV. These people who worked on this show were not just talented actors and actresses, they were MASTERS OF THEIR CRAFTS. They could sing, dance, improvise on a seconds notice, take chaos and create art, and they connected with everyone who watched. If you didn't laugh when you watched the Carol Burnett Show? You were either the most unfeeling person ever created or your didn't have a pulse. Even as a little boy her show was one of my favorites. I had a huge crush on Vicki Lawrence. She was sweet, adorable, funny, cute, actually beautiful, and so talented. Man she was brilliant. Carol's eye for talented people was beyond amazing when Vicki came on. She was incredibly talented, insanely sexy, provocative, yet innocent, cute, funny, goofy, and she also could improvise at will. Harvey Korman added more hilarity as did he sidekick the oldest man alive Tim Conway. Those two were also brilliant and couldn't make it through a sketch without one of them making the other lose it. The oldest man ever skits, with Tim Conway hobbling along, s l o w l y, oh so S L O W ! As Tim would maneuver himself throughout the skit Harvey Korman would watch in disbelief and TRY AND NOT LAUGH, AND FAIL EVERYTIME! There was a 📀DVD📀collection of the Carol Burnett Show 🎬 that had the episodes intact, and behind the scenes interviews with the cast. Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence, and of course Carol Burnett. I missed out on this set and to this day I am kicking myself for not buying it! There are some 📺TV📺 shows that transcend comedy, or even entertainment in general. For me, M*A*S*H was one of those. I bought the Martini's and (forgot?) Collection. Every episode uncut was on this set. There were the Reunion specials as well. Interviews, and bloopers. Gags, stories, and more. It was, no IS my most precious DVD set. Yes it's it's Hulu, BUT the PHYSICAL COPIES are by far superior. Your not tethered to your Wi-Fi connection, or ads/commercials? Plus nothing is edited out. Sorry but I am NOT a advocate for streaming. I prefer physical copies of my media. If streaming services shut down pooof your movies? GONE! Anyway. Sorry, I digress, Carol Burnett's show is similar to M*A*S*H in that it brings a special brand of comedy, a connection to the audience that other shows weren't capable of. It wasn't dramatic or "real", it wasn't based off reality, it was just a sketch comedy show that was loaded with extremely talented, insanely funny, adorable people, and acts that could improvise in any situation! They were/ARE the best comedy team ever. They connected with the audience. Before the shows began, Carol would interview the crowd. Connect with them! That was brilliant! She was brilliant! This show will be remembered as the best sketch comedy, musical, dance, improvisational show to ever be seen anywhere, by anyone!
Oh I wish there was something like this anywhere today ! By anywhere I mean tv, movies or the stage. I would pay good money for this kind of entertainment. These people had levels of hardship that prepared them for this type of entertainment. And the newer generations have not had any hardships to exercise that inner part that brings great joy and happiness to the masses. The further we go along we become less of everything we want to accomplish. Aren’t we sad?
Their comedy is priceless and timeless. It's too bad comedy isn't the same anymore. I loved her shows watched every week.
Tim Conway , what a treasure.
I sure miss these TALENTS instead of what they’re giving us now...These skits are priceless
Miss this show so much.. Pure entertainment.
I love Mrs. Wiggins. She is my favorite character of all time from the Carol Burnett show. She’s hilarious
“I bet your folks had some banana bill” RIP Tim 🙏you are sorely missed 💔
Tim Conway was the best! His oldest man skit had me losing myself in laughs for the entire time he played him. There were so many ICONIC skits, LEGENDARY shorts, and EPIC shows. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were just about the best duo I saw. They'd make each other laugh, throughout the seasons and it ALWAYS made the skits better. This was the BEST IMPROV TEAM EVER! PERIOD!
The best comedy ever!
Carol Burnett and her cast were and are all geniuses!
Love, love, love theses skits!!
Our whole family looked forward to watching “The Carol Burnett” show on Saturday nights...and we laughed a lot.
it was a golden time!
Mrs. Wiggins.. what an adorable creature she is!
I think the two of them as Tudball and Wiggins are pure gold! 😄😅
Why does his tupee look a magic carpet from Aladdin 😆😆
Saw every gag coming. Still hilarious.
Tim Conway has to be one of the greatest ever.R.I.P funny man and thanks for the laughs.
“ can’t let you in without a badge “ 🤣😂😭🤣😂🤣😭
I remember watching this show when I was little! My daddy would let me stay up past my normal bed time so I could see it. I loved it when Carol Burnett pulled on her ear as she told us all “so long!”
She's a doll
Mine too
Hilarious. It's nice later generations have it to enjoy.
My father laughed a lot, but I think he laughed hardest at these skits. May they both rest in peace.
carol's still alive
Tim Conway, and my father.
Rest in peace funny man, Tim Conway, thanks for all the laughs.
Critter xxx44f
Ms Wiggins didn't give a f$3%! LOL
"Woow, watch out for the Sonic boom" 😂😂...that got me
loved loved this skit from the Carol Burnett show in the 1970s; she and Tim Conway were so funny in these skits as his secretary. hilarious ; didn't do any work, always filing her nails and carried on lol
I loved her Farrah Faucett wig
Farrah was not only my favorite on Charlie's Angels, she was the most beautiful Angel too
Loved Tim Conway what a great comedian, RIP!!!!
RIP Mr. Conway. Thank you for the laughs.
"Wait for the sonic boom!!" Then, she covers her ears!! LOL
One of my favorite skits.
Her character is so dumb yet so clever at the same time
She made me laugh out loud.
I remember watching this the first time it was shown. Carol wrote that she had been thinking of the character of Mrs. Whiggins as elderly - but when she first tried on the costume, she was forced to stand with her butt sticking out, and that stance then inspired the way she performed this character.
Tim, you were the best. None like you. God speed. I know you're making Him laugh. Rest in peace.
I can’t decide between Mrs. a’Wiggins or Mother Marcus!!!! They’re both classic and hilarious. Thank you Carol Burnett, you kept me in stitches back then and still today 💫👀💜
It amazes me how they could just transform into these timeless characters.
I remember as a five year old kid laughing at the Mrs. Wiggins skits. But now I laugh even harder. Mr. Tudball’s laugh lays me out. Lol
me too
Badgers lol... 😂😂😂
HOW I MISS THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW!!!!!! CLEAN COMEDY. Loved so much to see them all not being able to hold their laugh . They were hilarious!!!! Miss all of you.
Amen
It isn't all clean. They had a lot of filthy "jokes" (if you can call them jokes) in the show. Even this very skit had some filthy references, if you're old enough to understand them.
Never missed show?
Tim Conway you're the best RIP.
2019 to infinity still watching and it's still funny and always will be. They don't make shows like this anymore good clean fun.
Rest In Peace Mr. Tudball(Tim Conway)
Mom loved this show and we all watched every week ..Im glad she did .
These two characters were my favorite on this show. Hilarious!
indeed
These skits were the great, Mrs. Wiggins always found a way to get back at the boss! I'm surprised no one has thought to make a movie based off of these characters, with a good writer and actors it'd be very funny and I think we're long over due for a comedy movie that's actually entertaining!
My heads going katark katark katark!
"wow, watch out for the sonic boom." OMG ROFL!
Watch this with my girlfriend 75, 76. She became my wife, and then my ex-wife. But real great memories, Mrs. Ha-Wiggins, funny, funny sh**.
Classic..never runs out of style..
Love it, need these shows back, no 4 letters words, a family show
As a kid in the 70’s Ms. Wiggins was my favorite character. I have no idea why but she was. Born in 71. Just turned 50 this year.
Thanks for bringing back memories from when I was a kid. Amazing this still cracks me up after 40 years.
....Trying to teach the mermaid how to do the splits.....LOL 😂😂😂😂
Great comedian! May he rest in peace.
So much work, for so little in return! Exhausting for Tudball! 🤦
Get over here a jiffy quick.😅
What made the show so good it's clean and they laughed at each other
Mr. Tudball: Wait for the sonic kaboom!
Mrs. Wiggins: *covers her ears*
Comic geniuses, timelessness is the test....
😂😂😂they don't make comedylike this anymore!!!
Tim Conway rip.
I laugh my head off watching some of those comedy shows. These are the funniest comedy shows I have ever seen in my whole life. I have not had a good laugh in weeks maybe months today is the first time., these are the funniest people I have ever seen.
Why don't they have show like these on TV anymore?
Tonya Murphy yeah they were so good and live.
I remember this. So many years. Loved this.
So original paved the way for so many comics but you couldnt tiuch them
I actually had a secretary who looked and acted like Mrs. Wiggins. The most difficult 2 years of my life!
RIP COMEDY LEGEND
One of the funniest shows and entertainers ever!
RIP TIM CONWAY
Mrs. Wiggins has just been pranked 🤣
That intro music says it all!
That's so true... That's exactly why my husband n I don't watch too much regular television !!!
Mr. Tudball: woah! Watch out for that sonic kaboom.
Watch out for the sonic kaboom , lmao
Mrs. Wiggins is awesome.
I am an all time fan
The best!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I LOVE CAROL BUTNETTE. I WATCHED HER SHIW EVERY WEEK. I CAN WATCH, AND REWATCH HER SHOWS DAILY. THE SKITS NEVER GET OLD!
**My favorite is when Tim Conway and Harvey get on the plane, first class vs. Coach. It's HALARIOUS I
* I would love to purchase the whole Carol Burnett's DVD set ...
GREAT HUMOR!
My parents showed me this show and I loved it as a kid. Especially this skit, the dr skits, the dentist, etc.
Siamese elephants
This is an example of when shows were funny not filthy.
& live TV, they cracked up laughing. It was all so funny they couldn't help it
Exactly!
I was kinda filthy
I dont even watch the trash produced today..
Today's so called comedy doesn't make sense half the time and is seldom funny.
Such a GREAT show!
When you get to a gas station you might wanna check that left rear.
Funnier than Mr. Tudball's quip was Mrs. Wiggin's response of having to raise both hands in order to figure out which side is "left".
Tim and stan laurel were and still are my hero's ! ! Thanks boys ! !❤❤❤👍
Mrs. HaWiggins! When I was a kid I thought that was hysterical!!
Tim Conway made the Carol brunette funny
She makes chewing gum look so cool!
Geralyn E and she makes me wish I had a piece every time she chews it! Lol
Geralyn E it makes my jaw hurt lol
This is a great reversal of comedy.
after all these years they are always hilarious.haaaa
"Te-hu, te-hu, te-hu, te-hu."
"I think dat Darvin fellow had de right teory. I bet your folks had some banana bill."
I always thought Tudball was supposed to be Swedish. Turns out that Tim Conway based the voice on his mother's Romanian accent.

I miss them to
Mrs. Wiggins inside her head:
Oh no!! There’s gonna be a sonic boom?!?!
Mrs. Wiggins: *covers ears*
God, I loved this show!!
Love it ! ! ! 🤩
My daughter is 11 and she loves this!!
I didn't see that since I was a tyke, but I still find it hilarious!
Mr tudball is so funny
I luv Mrs Wiggens!
Me too
Get over here right now a jiffy quick
Mrs. Wiggins reminds me a bit of the character Ophelia that Jamie Lee Curtis played in Trading Places.
Tu-hoot te-hoot te-hooty
Te he te he te heee
I remember first seeing Tim Conway on “McHale’s Navy,” an early-1960s sitcom set on a PT boat (inspired by JFK’s PT-109, perhaps?)in the Pacific during World War II, starring Ernest Borgnine. He was hilarious then!
I've kind grown out of that show by now, since I know most of the episodes by heart, but it'll always be my very favorite. It was inspired by "Seven Against the Sea"
what a brilliant comedy on stereotypes of the time. which is a compliment, these women were obviously brilliant and ahead of their times. just wow.
One of My favorite skit!!
