- This video is an upgrade to "Lunada Bay 10-20 feet" on my RUclips channel: "henryssurfshowcase" ( link below)
It features even more wasted waves and a few quick shots of "Avalanche".
Unlike the previous version 4:3 this is in a 16:9 format.
If you like and have the other one in your playlist, feel free to replace it with this one now added to my Surfing Southern California playlist.

Wow this place is localised by KOOKS
I see the same Dave. All those badass PV locals that fight everyone off don't know where to line up on a big day and spend more time trying to get away from the peak than catching it. The best waves in every video go unridden. The waves themselves remind me of San Onofre mush burgers.
I guess Palos Verdes is missing people that can surf.

They should rename it “Shoulders”
I'm wondering, are those the locals that claim this as there spot? reason I ask is because from watching this video nobody out there can figure out the lineup. Everytime a set rolls through there all scratching to get away from it. Do they just paddle out to sit paddle around, sit, paddle around an so on? Anyways I dig your clips and as far as the local BS that goes on here they're days are numbered.
I love the soun of the waves
.. years ago there was an old video showing scary monster waves-it was on fire and dangerous that day-few good rides too-best video of LB - hope video gets posted again because is was powerful, fast storm surf-nasty.unreal footage- epic day
I grew up in lunada bay for ten years, yes this is a strange mushy swell, but if you were out at the peak, you would be shitting in your wetsuit getting caught inside by a fifteen foot hawaiian set. That is far out from shore. Imagine your leash breaking and swimming in. People drown on big days like this one.
having grown up surfing swamis most of my life, I thought swamis was a mushy wave. This place is completely mushy with no carvable face... let them have it, its junk.
Those locals cannot handle a marshmallow wave at their own spot eh. Stay in Cali!
all sitting in the channel. won't even catch a cold.

Awesome!! Full watching! Thanks for your support! :)
henry,
how come the fearless locals sit on the shoulder lol
Even with offshore breeze and a little size it looks to surf like onshore junk. gotta take off in the whitewater even to get moving on the shallow face. Super forgiving. Maybe twice in the whole video a a lip throws to half way down the face. bnefit of the doubt maybe it cleans up at low tide or something. Nice video Henry!
My guess is that if you were to paddle out on this day (as a non-local) you would probably have no problems with locals. While not "20 foot Waimea" it is clear this is more than enough size for the guys out. At first glance I thought the line up was empty because no one is sitting on the peak. Low tide and just overhead is probably the day to get hassled.
I am ABSOLUTLEY TRIPPING on where these guys are sitting. What is this? K-38, but sitting on the shoulder.....🤣😂😲 Are these the same dudes who pop your tires and throw rocks at people?
