You made that truck drivers day, it took me a second to figure who and what was going on, very cool! I got mine in the shop last night, unpacking and setting it up as soon as I watch this. I carry my Sur Ron on the rear of my Prius, with the battery in, I hope the additional weight doesn't change that, if it does I guess I can take the battery out but would rather not mess with that.
The Throttle housing is similar to the Domino throttle as well as the spring feel. The Throttle internals are deff not the same. I’ve tested not only the voltage but seen the PCB itself & it’s hall based vs the Domino being a Potentiometer. Also the MX4 has 8kW of power vs the Surron being 6kW Peak. Now let’s link up so you can ride some modified shit 🤙🏼⚡️
Owning a 2019 LBX and an early talaria sting. I chose the sting as the snappy throttle makes it feel so much more fun (just the way early bikes were tuned). The shape and feel of the bike sits so much nicer for aggressive trail riding. Your knees don't get sore from trying to hold the bike. Stock to stock the sting is just that bit nicer everywhere. Now with the sting r more people are actually coming to that conclusion. The bits they upgraded certainly make it tempted to upgrade my bike, but maybe in a few years.
I used to race motocross and that is the same tire my nephew and I used all the time great tires Track Master. I raced a YZ 125 and Kx 205 class with the same tire in mid 90’s.
9k here in Australia for the Sting R, we get stung in the bum because of shipping and shit exchange rates.. want one but for that money, I can get an Ultra
Yes it’s a governor, it will limit the top speed of the bike. I think b4 you cut the wire it only goes 18mph in eco and around 28mph in sport… after cutting it goes around 55mph.
I have been riding hyperscooters so I’m not even sure how your page was recommended to me. I’m not even in the market for one of these but your videos have me contemplating getting one. You make these look fun as shit and you and your boys are hilarious. Keep up the good work and great content. You gained a subscriber.
Have 2 coming next week for me and my son, we can't wait! Any rules/laws I need to know about in Washington, or can we ride these as you could a bicycle?
It has IPM motor which teoreticaly is pretty simillar to KO motor and should be able to handle quite some power, on top it will be more efficient, so range is goign to be better as well. At least on paper.
It doesn’t lose power at top end. You need to put it in sport mode. It goes from 0-53mph in like a second or two it seems. Pretty fast right out of the box. In Hawai’i, I spent $5000 for the bike because of the shipping cost. It sucks to live in Hawai’i because of that. Anyways, thanks for posting this review. I appreciate you.
I live this guys energy. I cant believe im saying that about someone. But try being sad watching his high energy content. And gettinf the fedex geeza involved that must have made his week
Great video, but I've literally never heard of anyone ever having to replace their transmission with more power, other than the freak occurrence by Electric is Better. The transmission on the Talaria is pretty damn solid.
Awesome content! You know they make taller tripods, so you won't have to keep crouching down to talk to the camera😜👍 (Kidding!!) Keep doing what you do👍‼
I fuckin love all your videos man🤘🏽…I’m stuck between this and the surron because I’m going to use it for getting around my little city and on maybe some fun on weekends lol. All I need to figure out which one is more reliable them I’m ordering mine from Luna 🤣

I have little interest in trails or off-roading, but this thing looks pretty cool. So is the Sting R technically legal to ride on the roads w/o plates?
No, it isn't legal to ride anywhere but private land. People who upgrade these for road riding are just chasing trends. There are much more practical options for pavement.
@@justinbogart278 Thanks Justin, I was looking into getting a hyper scooter for around town as I dont think the cops would break stones about that unless speeding, but this looks safer, although I suspect they would be all over it since it basically looks like a dirt bike.
@@ssoffshore5111 ya legally this is just an unregisterable motorcycle. Overpowered scooters are much easier to get away with but also yes those small wheels are much less safe at speed.
@@justinbogart278 Exactly, which is why this caught my interest. I think the cops would be all over me like stink on shit with something like this in my small town community... hence my question. The fast stand-up "hyper" scooters really need 13" wheels to be a lot safer IMO. 11" is commonplace now, but I suspect they will keep getting bigger in time for safety and comfort. I have a little Mantis V2 with 10" which does high 30's, even at that speed I'd feel better with larger wheels.
Hahaha Nice to see you have fun…😂 I don't understand why Talaria still doesn't have a way to deactivate the restriction without mechanical intervention? The restriction has to be reactivated after every restart (like Sor-Ron) so that there are no problems on public roads. For me, that's (unfortunately) the only but valid reason not to buy the bike.

I would like to know too?
Yes it’s a governor, it will limit the top speed of the bike. I think b4 you cut the wire it only goes 18mph in eco and around 28mph in sport… after cutting it goes around 55mph.
There is also a brake sensor, kickstand sensor and tilt sensor.
What about the Talaria XXX?
the gearbox is made so you have change the oil only after 3000 miles whic is pretty good. Does it make the bike more quiet?
No problems with my transmission and I run it at 20 kW
So the brown wire you cut is that the regulator wire
you guys funny :)
Thank you for the review :) cheers
Can’t wait to get y’all out on the trails !
Cutting the brown wire- this is required or is this the governor?

Do you think the Talaria Sting R could hang with dirt bikes out on the trails?
Probably but I feel like they’re definitely gonna make fun of you lmao
If you guys were to rate these for say off road/trails and old mountain logging roads which, would you prefer?
This. Check out my latest video where we took em off road

How’s the torque?
What's the brown wire that you cut, is that some kind of restrictor?
governor. limits your speed

Great vid! thanks for the review! would love your thoughts on the e ride pro ss. trying to decide between these 3 brands for my first e bike.
These dudes are having way to much fun lol
is it free shipping?
Great if you’re short (5’10” or less). Otherwise you have to dump $1000-1500 to make it fit your frame. Get the SurRon Ultra Bee if you’re taller.
