I slept on it last night and today I woke up knowing that I'm ordering a pair in the same leather but in the builder pro model. The cost is high but if i keep them and take care of them for a decade it will have been worth it BTW, I just followed you on insta for the boot pix!! Salud y bendiciones!
Wow! That Latigo looks better than I hoped it would! Nicks should be giving you a commission for all the sales you make. I know your video's have made me order three pairs so far!
Brother thank you so much for the amazing comment. All credit to Nicks Team for spoiling me with the leathers. Hope my words so echo in your boots wearing and be congruent. I try my best brother !🙌🏻 Salute 💪🏻
Wow, Manny, your new boots in latigo are some the nicest I've ever seen, if not the nicest! That latigo is absolutely gorgeous. You did a great job showing us and giving us good thoughts about those leathers, too. Thank you for the nice post!
I have to give credit to Grant for the big help to make me that pair. It was a pain for the cobblers due to the thickness of Latigo. I feel fortunate of having those beautiful boots. Compadre Thank you so much for passing by and watched the video. 🙌🏻
The video is going along quite nicely, laid back, and then the new Latigo Boots BURST on the scene and i can NOT take Mine eyes off of them!!! Great Boots, Brother! Thanks for the show and tell!!!
I can't stop looking at those Chestnut Latigo boots😲haha. I think my next pair will be in that or Double Stuffed Buck Brown🤙🏻 As always, love the videos Manny👏🏻 And also appreciate you answering any questions I have🤝🏻
I love that you have soft toes too. Everyone gets caught up in the celastic toe and then your foot gets stepped on once and you have a permanent dent in your boot, when you could have a nice weathered boot like yours.
Thank you! I’m trying to decide between Seidel’s Double Shot British Tan, or Whitney & Craig’s Latigo Chestnut. Chestnut is the winner hands down! That’s a gorgeous color with amazing pull up. All your boots are great, especially the tan engineer boot. But that chestnut is just in a league of its own, Thanks for posting and making it easier for me to choose.
Hey Jeffrey thank you for passing by and express your doubts. On my Instagram account I have plenty of pictures of my Latigo Chesnut evolution colors. Man, is a wonderful leather than honestly took me almost 10 months to break... just beware that will be a fun ride this leather !
I get why you love your latigo leather boots Manny. There is that depth to the leather and the pull up is impossible to resist. Now I need to get one of the latigo boots while the leather is still available at Nick's. Great review once again, kudos .
Chestnut latigo is so beautiful colour.Amazing! For me looks more antique, vintage. How is the stretching of latigo leather as per your experience.Nicks are telling me that latigo is very stiff, heavyweight leather and there is very little stretching.
I think there is the same stretching as the CXL. At least mine had stretch. Even if Latigo is a veg tan with many oils and waxes, the leather has stretched. It is relatively rigid and needs more work to make it smooth, but it is not uncomfortable to wear. Actually is the perfect leather to choose!
@@MIIIB My Iron rangers are width D very comfortable , but Nicks width chart showing EE. I am thinking if I get width E and expect some stretching the fit to be okay. My worry is if I get EE may be the heel aria will be loose.
Highly recommend you brother the venetian cream, give about 3 to 4 coats, let dry each one for 15 to 30 minutes and leather will come to 95% original look. Let dry and brush, then a other coat. Chunky coats if possible. You will see how good it will look. Venetian cream is made by horween and exclusive for CXL and Waxed Flesh
You are going to make my bank account suffer with these boot videos! You have such an amazing collection of excellent boots. Now you have got me looking at the engineer pull on boot. That rough out leather looks so nice on it. But can you oil a boot that has rough out leather? How do you waterproof or maintain that type of leather? Thanks for the video, brother.
Hey brother this boots are my work tools. Never felt better in my body before, better sleeping, better standing, less pain. The RO leather is very easy to mantain with oil. If you planning for casual I really recommend smooth leather brother. RO helps with the abrasion. Is the same dilemma of leather or cotton gloves. At the end is just what you like. Have an amazing day 🙏
Hi Manny, I’ve been having a hard time deciding on Wickett & Craig latigo chestnut or WC medium brown veg tan. Since you have both, do you have any suggestions? I like oiled leathers but also like the idea of how the veg tan will patina. Thanks.
Medium Brown will patina around brown/reddish due to the nature of pigments in leather. Chesnut Latigo is very different leather infused with oils. I haven't used the Latigo as much as the medium brown but as far as pictures the Latigo dark shade will start to go lighter. Once oila starting to go out the clear color will grow. As examplr the Nob Nix boots in burgundy latigo went really clear and those were super dark in the begging. Vegtan is dry leather and will patina a lot faster than Latigo.
Is HNW all my boots and yes have support, I have a low arch, the 55 or 67 last are too aggressive for me, it hurts my feet. The HNW still has support and is more like a smooth transition from heel to vamp. I love it. A lot more support than redwing iron rangers
Those are nice but don't like how the toe is like rippled. I see this alot on new boots and to me doesn't seem right. Its like floppy sloppy and just weird.
You not going to believe me but is what I like the most, wavy toe 😁 . Is an amazing thing that they offer many toe options. However, if working for safety I use the celastic, like the overlander tan smooth. Thanks for the comment brother. All input is welcome
@@MIIIB thats cool...I know its a common thing but maybe its because in that the 40 years I have been using work boots I have always had steel or composite toes, so seeing that flat mushy toe seems weird to me....im glad everyone has different likes for sure but I guess I prefer more of the clown boot look....take care
I had use both and until this day the mini 430 is the most versatile sole, have tread, flexible, some longevity but can't substitute the comfort, longevity, better traction of the v100 brother. The lug sole have more volume but is really worth, besides will last a lot longer than any other sole. Is my choice for any trade jobs without a question.
@@johnsmalley9610 I mean those are the middle spot in general. Good traction but not the best like lugs sole, good comfort but not the best like wedge, good durability but not the best like the V-bar .... Is not the worst but no the best in any category, IMO I don't like that sole. If casual I go for V-Bar and work for Lug Sole 100. If more cushion the Honey lug sole is nice, just not combined with all colors.
You did an excellent job on this video. Very well done and covered all the details. And that Latigo Chestnut.....DAMN!
Thank you, brother. Really appreciated your comment. Have an amazing day

Thanks brother for the nice comment. Latigo is very special for me, majority of credit to Nicks team . They had spoiled me a lot 😀
Manny!! That chestnut Latigo is straight FIRE!!
Can't agree more brother!!!💪🏻 Thank you so much!
Man that Latigo is so tempting. I’m afraid I would start babying my boots with that beautiful leather. Beautiful boots man!
Thanks for the comment brother. Latigo is quite a great leather. Not a easy one to break but is magnificent

I have a few qith celastic but my 80% of collection is soft toe, the comfort is what I always look, patina better IMO. Thank for the support
You might have just convinced me to go with the soft toe on my order.
Great video Manny.

Hey hermano!!!! Very nice to have you here. Latigo is the cream !!!🙌🏻
The Generation laces you recommended are 🔥. My Nicks Overlanders and Red Wing 1907’s are ready for fall. Thanks homie!!!
*you might want to contact them and add a link. I got 3 pairs for $27 and the quality (as you know) is phenomenal.

Question about your renegades. Is that the 1964 Tan Roughout? That leather looks amazing.
Is brown RO brother not Tan RO, but they color is very similar by the way!

Looks awesome! What products do you use to take care of the latigo leather?
I use Obenaufs oil and have been doing perfectly
@@MIIIB thanks so much, trying to decide between oiled tan latigo or brit tan cxl for a nicks Americana build, more of a nicer/casual boot

I just ordered a pair of Overlander in brown waxed flesh. How is the arche support in this HNW last is? Also supportive?

What is the thickness compare to 1964?
I feel the same thickness, but 64 is more pliable.
