Try to have more conversations in Spanish with her though, as your Spanish pronunciation still needs some work, especially having lived in Colombia for 6 years. My first Colombian girlfriend would only speak with me in English. Only later when I was forced to speak Spanish with a girlfriend who didn’t speak English did I finally reach a level of Spanish I can use at work. Cheers.

Great podcast from what seems like really nice people. However, it seems like just too much. It's better to go and live there, learn the language and meeting people in places who share a hobby that attracts the best of the society.
Hay que tener conciencia para encontrar pareja, ir despacio, buscar contactos locales, no apresurarse ni buscar lo fácil, porque tiene sus riesgos. Tener cuidado con la mujer que muestra mucho interés, y mas con el hombre. Tener cuidado si ves que se quiere meter a tu apartamento u hotel sin conocerte lo suficiente y visceversa. Mi pareja es estadounidense nos conocimos por redes sociales, coincidimos en los mismos valores y vivimos en Colombia, no hemos pensado en irnos a otro país porque en Colombia tenemos la oportunidad de ahorrar, de viajar, y tener una vida digna.

Just got back from Rio I think Medellin is now my #2 favorite city in South America 🙃
