Official and Unofficial lego are unbalanced af. Officials have better plastic quality but they're shit on details and are EXPENSIVE AF. Unofficials sucks at plastic quality but offers better details and features if you pick the right off-brand legos. 500 pesos here in the Philippines (probably like 10$ estimate in US dollars) can literally buy two pieces of medium-sized unofficial sets that are worth like 500 dollar official lego sets and 500 dollars is a TON in our country.
Simple official stuff is made to be sold easily to kids, people who make these unofficial builds are typically more creative adults hence forth they makes more complex builds
