Hi Samantha! I must've missed something Why is Lester separating the bulls from the heifers?? I'm a city girl and have never lived on a farm/ranch or even visited one, so if you could please explain why he's doing this, I would greatly appreciate it!😊
@proudboxermom3104 the land at Longhorn Lester's is not doing well with the drought. There's no grass to graze on and the hydroseeding didn't work because the soil is too sandy. So Lester and Jami made the decision to move Tex, Santianna, and Charlene to Ima Survivor. But in order to make that move the bulls need to be separated from the females. He doesn't have enough space to allow 3 different herds separate. So the best choice is to have bulls in one pasture and females in the other pasture. I hope this helps! 🙂
His plan in to put all 3 bulls together in one pasture.Bulls are less likely to fight if there is not a female. All females will be in the larger pasture.

So many white cows I'm start to have a really hard time telling them apart. As for post holes - you're lucky you don't have to dig them 48" or more into the ground like we do in Canada (and anywhere in the USA that gets severe winter weather) - it's done so that when the frost comes out of the ground in the spring, the posts won't heave up. Jezebel is so beautiful.

It always happens,,,, someone left the gate open. My back herd got with my Front herd and it was a FREE FOR ALL . My 10 year Bull Longhorn Thunderstruck got into with my 4 year old Bull, Little Big Horn,,,,,,the Cows were fighting Cow's. Little Big Horn got the best of Thunder,,,,,LBH got him on the ground,,,But Thunder got lucky and rolled down the hill into the pond. LBH didnt want to go in after Thunder. Thunder tried to go out the back side and LBH ran full speed to cut him off,,,,,,i called LBH and he came and i put him back where he belongs. The next morning Thunder was Growling and headed back to the fence line,,,,dang Thunder,,,you are hard headed.
Jolene was so cute walking past you on a mission to her sweet Waylon. Glad that Pearl stood her ground and they didn’t go after Jolene. She’s going to miss Waylon even though he’s right their. Happy that the bulls didn’t fight. Looking forward to the video of the others coming over. Tex seeing his son again what a reunion.

Norma here. So far, so good. I hope both the ladies and gentlemen behave themselves. The hardest part will be when Tex arrives. I think Santiana and Charlene will be fine. I’m just a little scared for the younger, smaller bulls with Tex. Tex will probably not be in a good mood being separated from his girl, Santiana. However, once they all settle down and realize they have everything they need to be comfortable, all will be well. This is the only solution you have to keep everyone healthy through this heat and drought. Jolene has quite the personality. Love her. ❤ You took away her man. 😅😊😅

We bought a home in Tucson Arizona years ago and started to do some landscaping, we bought a couple bushes and a lemon tree . My husband tried to plant them and it was so difficult we had to rent a jackhammer to break up the clay that’s like concrete.

We use to try to dig in that Georgia red clay dirt, remember that was hard, hard! Kentucky had some too but when digging after rain in that dark dirt of GA, man the big earth worms we got for fishing!! Hope all the cows get along & are happily feeding on grass! Norma here. So far, so good. I hope both the ladies and gentlemen behave themselves. The hardest part will be when Tex arrives. I think Santiana and Charlene will be fine. I’m just a little scared for the younger, smaller bulls with Tex. Tex will probably not be in a good mood being separated from his girl, Santiana. However, once they all settle down and realize they have everything they need to be comfortable, all will be well. This is the only solution you have to keep everyone healthy through this heat and drought.

We bought a home in Tucson Arizona years ago and started to do some landscaping, we bought a couple bushes and a lemon tree . My husband tried to plant them and it was so difficult we had to rent a jackhammer to break up the clay that’s like concrete.

We use to try to dig in that Georgia red clay dirt, remember that was hard, hard! Kentucky had some too but when digging after rain in that dark dirt of GA, man the big earth worms we got for fishing!! Hope all the cows get along & are happily feeding on grass! I really love the idea that y'all came up with. I had no idea that the pastures at I'm a Survivor were that big or big enough to support the cattle for now.
