There is just one problem with this, you are creating a meeting that is attached to your account. So, when the invitees log into the meeting and start putting things in the chat you see all the items popping up in your teams screen because technically it's your meeting. This method does not allow confidentiality for the meeting participants. It would be nice if there was a more formal, confidential way to do this.

Yes. The hope is that their calendar is up-to-date. And some choose to block out their entire day, so that you cannot find a mutually beneficial time. So there is that, too.

If you are using O365 (education or business), you will have access to their calendars automatically. But you must be in the same domain.
How do we know they update their available time in scheduling assistant? Is this based on their outlook calendar meeting?
