I rejected A Thousand Suns at the first time. It was too much different, experimental, a kind of fusion of synth, pop-rock, rap and some aerials melodies. But when I saw how this album was good in live with the tour, I was charmed. Clearly the most risky move from Linkin Park but you still catch their unique touch and identity if you can accept not being stucked on Hybrid Theory and Meteora, that Linkin Park is REALLY MORE than a alternative rap-metal band. At all, A Thousand Suns sounds like Hybrid Theory's original impact by bringing some new ways to make music, mixing styles and influences to build a cohesive and experimental record with catchy songs.
Burning in the skies, When they come for me, Wretches and Kings, Waiting for the end, The Catalyst, The Messenger are absolute killer tracks.
