For the millionth time, Emily was not brought to replace him, but to continue his legacy at the request of Mike and band members who just want to make more music together. And you can also see how emotional she gets which she sings this song in particular.
Your voice in "Waiting for the End" echoes in every corner of our souls-a powerful anthem of hope, struggle, and transformation. The way you poured your heart into those lyrics feels like a call to anyone battling their own storms. You sang about reaching for something new, for light amidst the darkness, and it reminds us to never stop striving, even when the end seems near. Your passion turned pain into poetry, and your voice remains a guide, a rhythm, a lifeline. Though you're not here with us anymore, your legacy continues. Through your music, we find strength, solace, and the courage to keep moving forward. We miss you, Chester. Thank you for teaching us to embrace the highs and lows of life with the same raw intensity you brought to your art. ❤ Forever in our hearts, Your fans 🌟
Goddam, Chester was a vocalist in a class of his own, the best ever of all time, it was so effortless for him. Always amazed at how raw, unpolished, and how little technique he actually used, full belted chest screams, and yet, always so fucking precise in every syllable of vocal delivery. Fucking hell, no one like him before or since.

Unfortunately, his children have had to grow up without their father, which will indeed do incalculable damage to them for the rest of their lives. It's all just very sad.
No other band has a refined teamwork to make a song perfect like LP does. Look how Brad switches from keyboard to guitar and adding the really difficult wah-effect. Amazing.

For me this is the best song Linkin Park has created. So underrated. The beat, the melody, the lyrics are superb!
“I know what it takes to move on”
Since already 2 years chester left us... I still cant move on with your music and LP without you chester😢😢😢
