Making a journal like this is brilliant! Many of us older folks have boxes and boxes full of childhood photos and ephemera that our children won’t know what to do with. Why burden them with it when we could leave them a journal full of our life stories which is small and easy to keep.
Journaling can preserve so many precious memories...which we would otherwise forget completely.....I mean I would prefer years of memories over bars of gold. Lol
It's wonderful. I grew up as a child and teen in the sixties and seventies and your little journal has such a seventies vibe to it. It might be vintage wallpapers with the bright florals. I love it. Thanks for the talk through. :D

I find it such a great idea to do a journal like yours/ by the way both the 'raw' journal and your biographic use are beautiful to look at 💫😍😊. It's genius to me, that you pick stuff, that doesn't have to be strictly original, but fits your memories with the original pictures. Don't know why, but looking your videos empowers me so much in my modest journaling/art/creative attempts and also in my everyday life. The colours and ideas and much more is a gift, i think. I love the way you add so many patterns and colors to your journal. I try to do it this way and it doesn't look so cozy and homey like yours. The latest Journal I created is called "Life as you know it" so that I can put pictures and everything happening now in our family \.This way when my grand-kids are older they can enjoy it. I love watching and learning from your videos!

I have been wanting to create a junk journal dedicated solely to childhood memories and this video was chock-full of inspiration. I especially love the layering, and such a great idea to have the scanned photos printed on document paper so they will last longer. I will definitely be back to watch more of your videos.... I feel a binge watching session coming on. 😃
