They want to primary him. This move by Clooney is part of their attempt to kick out Joe
Wrong - they knew, they just didn’t care. Now that they can’t escape it they’re playing catch up.
They did have a primary but the DNC, media and everyone else just pretended they didn't and acted like the only option in the primary was Biden.
They still would have been in this mess. Real candidates would of still been afraid to run against the incumbent President or straight up blocked out of the race like how must Democratic Primaries are look at RFK Jr.
Nothing is turning me against democrats more than them pretending like Biden was chosen by Democratic voters like they really had an option.

With dementia, when my Dad first had it, it would come and go. When he was lucid, he would remember what he was like when the dementia had a hold on him. And it scared him big time.

I agree. But for a 2 year campaign cycle, a couple of weeks is pretty fast to decide to denounce the guy you just raised 30 million for. I have things im undecided on in my Amazon cart worth $20 for longer than that.

Exactly, remember that in 2016 they used super delegates to help paint a picture that Bernie couldn't get the necessary delegates to contest the primary. In 2020 they went hard on the line about how Bernie wasn't electable and that they needed to beat Trump. But, then Biden got into office and he didn't really do much to earn the trust or respect of the progressives that were left out. He could have used the ACA to giver the people health care during the pandemic and chose not to. He could have just ignored the SCOTUS ruling on student loan payments and started cancelling loans anyways. It's not like SCOTUS has any enforcement mechanism anyways and they're so corrupt that having a ruling ignored might move the needle a bit for them to not be able to just assume that their unconstitutional rulings are going to be enforced.

I think Jill- and I can clearly see this if you have ever known anyone even with early Dementia- is afraid if he gives up on this, he won’t have anything to live for, and will just continue to go downhill. It happened to one of my aunts, and my daughter’s great aunt whom I helped take care of. The average time for an elderly person with mental decline to stay in a facility is 6 months. Some people go downhill faster or slower than others, but this is the average. 😢

My Dad was in early stage dementia at 82. Even though he was functional and by appearances fairly normal, there was no reasoning with him. Short of putting him in a padded cell, he was going to do what he was going to do whether it made sense to anyone else or not. Mercifully, he died of heart failure before he did any real harm to himself or others. We may not be so lucky with Biden.
We don't have any proof that Biden has dimentia. Not all people over 80 get dimentia.
The Biden Administration has already done unspeakable harm to the citizens of Ukraine and Palestine. Millions of Americans are also being harmed with record-high inflation, the loss of housing, and unaffordable food prices. Biden and his handlers have been awful for this country and the world. They all need to go.

There is nothing wrong in pulling out of the race if his health is deteriorating. If anything, it would show that the Democrats are responsive, progressive and not dependent on one man, no matter how good and decent he may have been.

It’s not an issue of whether pulling out of the race is “wrong”. The issue is that they have been gaslighting the public about just how bad Biden’s health is. And they are still trying to gaslight us.
The only reason they might pull the plug is not because of Biden’s health, but because the gaslighting simply isn’t working anymore. And that’s hardly a feather in Biden’s - or the MSM’s - cap. Or said another way, doing the right thing only because doing the wrong thing isn’t working anymore is not being noble.
Except that they have been lying to us for a long time. We should have been able to choose in the primaries.

The biggest threat to democracy is a party who try to put their rival in prison and import votes from around the world via illegal aliens. I can well believe the last election was rigged in this way. Bunch of gerrymanderers.
Yes, that's what gets me, for as long as I've been voting in Presidential elections, they've used that language. Perhaps i 2000, they didn't, but every election since they definitely have. But, they don't seem to act consistently with that. They don't make promises to attract voters and when in office, they do whatever they can to squirm out of responsibility. It's not that the MAGA types are a new thing, it's that the Overton window hadn't shifted enough to allow them to take over the way that they have.As long as the Democratic party is more interested in winning Republican voters at the expense of Liberal/Progressive ones, this is going to continue to be an issue.Right now, if you're a real progressive or lefty, you're expected to hold your nose even as the party bloodies your nose trying to appeal to Republican voters. That's not a recipe for a continuing Democracy.
