      Check out our 2 year buyers review on the 133x. Talks all about it.

    Have you had any problems with your keel guard peeling off? I installed one on a brand new titan x 10.5 which had never been used following their instructions and let it sit a good week before i touched it again. sliding the kayak on the cart (just like i will do when loading it in the truck) has peeled the aft portion away from the boat a little and i'm sure it will peel off as i keep sliding it. I emailed oneobjective and sent them pictures so hopefully they'll stand behind their product and send a replacement and some advice on what to do differently since i did the install exactly as they said and had no chemicals (303 or anything else) on the boat... it was as stock and new as it could be.

      I haven’t had this particular issue. Even with having a bed mat it’s the same material and it creates friction between the keel guard and the bed mat and it still didn’t fall off.
      However, the keel guard has been pretty much destroyed after 6-8 weeks or so. Torn right in the center exposing the hull. I have the BerleyPro keel guard on its way. But I have to use gorilla tape as a temporary keel guard until it gets in. I’ll talk more about this in a later video.

    What's up with the 133x ?
    I bought it and have about 6 thousand in it.
    It is supposed to be the dad yak.

    Hey man I’m curious. Is that the Ascend 133x cut up in the back ground???
    What made you do that???
    Just wondering

      Honestly, you have to love some fun destruction! It cracked and wasn’t fixable. Didn’t feel like having to go through the process of transferring registrations on a cracked boat without the motor. So figured we would have fun with it one final time!

      @@UntamedOutdoorsmen gotcha. Glad I didn’t buy one. Watching your videos was a deciding factor in me buying a native titan. Check me out @hanginwithhardin

    What happened to the dayak ? I love the slow stable boat.
    I just want to know what happened to the love you had for it and what's up with the boat.
    Been a a long time follower.
    I like you kids.

      Yeah like I said in your other comment it developed a crack at the end of its second year. You’re right we really enjoyed it but unfortunately opinions are capable of changing the harder you use them and as time goes on. I had a great time with the 133x but it was time to move on. Moving forward to the Titan X and haven’t really looked back since.

    I Just picked up my titan today and got the same keel guard. How long did it take for it set. With the adhesive?

      Immediately but waited a day or 2 to be safe. Its a very strong tape

    Hey guys. Love the channel. Quick question. You said don’t leave your kayak up on the sidekick when not in use. Just wondering where you got that info from. Did native say that? It’s one of the reasons I got it. So I could just open the garage, grab the yak and go. I wouldn’t store it for the winter but day to day I wanted to leave it on the sidekick.

    • @UntamedOutdoorsmen
      @UntamedOutdoorsmen  3 месяца назад

      Hey so yeah I have no idea whether or not native specifically said it. But it’s just precaution for us. When the landing gear are being used, the entire weight of the kayak is being put specifically on a small area of the track. Metal or not, that weight is putting force on those tracks which are attached to plastic. It may be fine if you use it overnight. But at the end of the day the sidekick is meant for transport not storage.

      @@UntamedOutdoorsmen right. I get that. Thanks you. I’m out in the garage assembling everything now. My steering and rudder system is all loose. Did you guys have to snug everything up? I know about the rudder assembly I just thought everything would come taut. Maybe not. It’s no big deal just curious

    • @UntamedOutdoorsmen
      @UntamedOutdoorsmen  3 месяца назад

      Mine came alright. There’s going to be some play in the steering system (just kinda comes with the native steering). Mine didn’t need any adjusting and the play isn’t a huge deal you still get full range of motion on the rudder. Maybe there is some slack in it.

      @@UntamedOutdoorsmen gotcha. Also just noticed there’s no gasket for the rudder at all. I thought there was like a foam plug style gasket?

    • @UntamedOutdoorsmen
      @UntamedOutdoorsmen  3 месяца назад

      @@seanmyhre1305 no need for this model. You’ll notice if you’re looking from the top of the boat the rudder control in the back sits much higher than the bottom of the boat. The water can’t get through I haven’t had even a drop come through there. Just like the new slayer max it’s a non issue.
