The best part about yout videos (that I feel) is the design thinking process, to build hypothesis and then what we want to see followed by what we need to reach there and finally reaching there . Thank you 💗
Very much appreciated and nice and easy to follow. The join function was well explained. I've had some trouble wrapping my head around left, right, inner outer joins for a while now and figured the only way i will truly understand them is to see them all in action by running some demo files. For me it's easier to understand when i see the application and the outcome. Big thanks again.
Hello @david langer, these are incredibly helpful videos :-) I am working with a larger data set and after getting the power query table (green one) I am trying to apply some formulas on it. Most of the formulas are either breaking or not allowing me to exclude headers from selections (eg: UNIQUE and FILTER). Is this common? I am not using pivot because the breaks I am trying to see (often on 2 axis) are easier to create using formulas than pivots and size of the sheet becomes too large with more pivot tables. Any suggestions? Thanks
If I understand your situation correctly, I think Power Query might be useful here. Power Query can create pivots (i.e., grouping tables). This video might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/bCZAfMB3SlY/видео.html

Great videos David...would you be able to show how to store weekly comments when the file changes with new orders
👍
It's was a bit too complex pivot table. It would've been good if you showed percentage instead of count.
Your voice goes from normal to a whisper..
Channel dead? :( soo sad
