FYI these rechargeable hand sprayers are also eco friendly because no VOC or propellants are used and it is cheaper than aerosols in the long run. Help Save the Planet🇺🇸
Just bought two. Fantastic... Must have for any detailer. I used for a pre spray for a Rinseless wash. Also a waterless wash. A fine mist that doesn’t get blown away by the wind.
The Solo sprayer with the angled tip worked great when I pretreated my vehicle with Wolfgang’s Uber Rinseless wash product. Made the wash more effective. Couldn’t imagine using a spray bottle after this. Thanks!
I used a portable pump to get 150 in the Sure Shot.. holy crap...Power-mist. The new IK sprayers have some of the best atomization out of a sprayer. The issue it, any wind ..it never makes it on the panel. The Sure Shot packs a punch with 100-150 PSI.
I work automotive and the shop i work in has 2 (cheap) sure shot. We use it for brake cleaner. I bought one of the (cheaper) ones for myself. So i could lock it up in my toolbox for the reason of no one in my shop takes care of anything so the valve to air them up get bent and messed up. I must say its a must have and i use it everyday. Only thing i want to add is the cheaper one does still come with the adjustable spray nozzle to do more of a strate powerful stream or less power and more misty. But other then that everything else was spot on!! Definantly a must have
cool thanks for posting, we use ours every day as well, so much better than blasting through cases of aerosols plug you can crank 200PSI in these suckers.
Auto Fanatic exactly. One thing i Particularly like is that in a normal Aerosol can as the fluid gets low the spray pressure gets low and sometimes leaving u with excess fluid in the can that then gets thrown away (most likley improperly). Where as these if the fluid gets low and the pressure is low hook ur tire gauge up fill it with some air and finish out the bottom of ur can!
My Solo Sprayer arrives tomorrow and Nanoskin (NA-NAD128) Non-Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner - 1 Gallon on the 13th. Anxious to test the Non-Acid product. Like you, my car is washed frequently. Only lite break dust on the rims. The recommended dilution rate of 1:4 should be fine. Giving me 5 gallons of solution.
cool let me know how you like it, I prefer the Sure Shot sprayer as it foams the product better but sometimes im tied up to fill it or its being use for other use so i prefer to have both on hand
Wow! Another extremely useful video. I needed one of these, not for car washing though but for another purpose. I'll choose the Solo Sprayer. Thank you.
yes WD comes in gallons but usually not local you need to find an industrial supply house near you to buy, most automotive shops use it in the Sure Shot sprayers and they work great. the PSI in the aerosol is always weak.
Holy crap just bought the Solo sprayer with the longer wand. I posted a comment on the Rag Company’s podcast “Ik needs a wand attachment for the 1.5” and was told “thats what the 9 is for” ... well duh. I dont like loading the 9 for just the wheels. The Solo sprayer i have has the 4-5” extension with the pivoting spout. The product is spread so even over the paint ... cant wait to try with a waterless wash.
Dmocification same here. got me 3 of those sprayer bottles for $4 from a grocery store and the quality is superb. To AUTO FANATIC No need to knock anyone cause they got a similar product for 1/4 of the cost. that's your decision if you wanna over spend for a relabel plastic spray bottle
Auto Fanatic Sure shot is junk. Working as a mechanic for 10 years, I have always had issues with sure shot sprayers. Top one issue was leakage, as you can see in the beginning of the video.
SraiTdenI your nuts they leak if you drop them carelessly or if you over tighten the tops, the ones that everyone says leak are the ones with the brass nipple at top with o ring, the one in this video is a different design. if they were so bad they wouldnt be in business this long. we have used these in our fabrication shop since the early 80s and never had one break on us.

How is the pressure on these? I plan to use it in place of brake parts cleaner cans. Im hoping for the same cutting power you can get out of the disposable cans.
awesome i can charge it with 120psi its way better than any aerosol can, i just used mine today and will post a new video on what i used it for next week.
Why don’t you use an old pesticide sprayer bottle or roundup sprayer... can hold a gallon or more & have a hose with long metal handle with adjustable nozzles. They come in different grades as well from plastic to steel been using the same one for years
Bad Dog Customs no need for such a large capacity to clean wheels or small parts, these hand held units are convenient and a better choice over a conventional sprayer
Auto Fanatic true no need to fill it full & yes I agree. I use mine usually for cleaning heavily oiled & dirty engine compartments great for the tight spots making 250,000 mile motors look new
Do you think I use less product when using an iron remover on the solo on its lowest setting compared to a trigger spray? Does the iron damage the solo?
Great video man, thanks for showing these but just in case anyone is watching , as of right now I went on amazon and saw a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer for $11 bucks free shipping, it’s normally like $30 bucks (chapin 20000 garden sprayer) it has a large rod that sprays looks like a budget power washer basically.
Auto Fanatic - I just bought the Solo Sprayer with Adam's New Eco Wheel Cleaner. Can I keep the Wheel cleaner in the Solo Sprayer? Or will the chemicals damage the sprayer if I don't empty it after each use?
If they whould put a grip On the plastic because if you spill anything or it overflows it become slippery as hell that’s just the downfall about the sprayers I’ve tried that one I have a Ik foamer now I have a Home Depot sprayer and I put the tip of the IK foam or onto a $10 pump sprayer worked the same all you do is replace the tip Pay 4.88 And if it’s right on the cheap Home Depot sprayers and you can save 80 bucks
Can anyone here tell me how you guys found or linked to this video, I cant believe how a silly quick video has gained such a huge response so quickly. if anyone can share please post where you found the video online. thanks.
Someone posted a link to your video in the comments of a video Obsessed Garage did on sprayers. Could be some of the views. Either way, great video. Thanks ruclips.net/video/_tCE8mvb16Y/видео.html
as a pretreatment yes but it wont have the same effect but the sureshot sprayer is one of the best things to pick up for around the garage and house i use it for everything.
Auto Fanatic I am sorry for asking again haha but which one you recommend for wheel cleaning and other task? I am between the solo and the 1.5. I already have the ik foam 9
$80 for a spray can? Yeah, I'll stick with the aerosols thanks. The blowby thing was amusing to hear about though when I could see the $80 can doing the exact same thing. I could only see this being cost effective if you used numerous cans of brake cleaner a day.
the 80 can does not do the same thing these products are for guys who use a ton of items to spray, wheel cleaner, brake cleaner etc not exactly for someone who uses aerosols on occasion. In a work environment you go through cases of aerosols and the money adds up quick
Not for the aluminum one by Sure Shot made in Wisconsin, Don't see anyone in China knocking this unit off for some reason, wonder why. It is expensive but i rather support a US made product these days call me old school I guess. The Sure Shot is very well made and should last a very long time if taken care of.
yes you can at any dilution rate seems to work if you make it too thick it comes out in a stream instead of a spray pattern you just need to play around until you get the desired result
Auto Fanatic I would like to get this for my wheels but I use Sonax wheel cleaner and it’s pretty thick will the sure shot be able to spray this? I tried a small pump sprayer and it was to thick to atomize, thanks for sharing
It does but its still pretty strong until the last bit of product runs out. I max my battery operated pump out at 150 psi. The Sureshot is rated for 200 psi.
FYI these rechargeable hand sprayers are also eco friendly because no VOC or propellants are used and it is cheaper than aerosols in the long run. Help Save the Planet🇺🇸
Auto Fanatic how much chemical guys Diablo Gel Wheel & Rim Cleaner you added With water on the solo thanks for the video.
I’m getting the 420 thanks!
Just bought two. Fantastic... Must have for any detailer. I used for a pre spray for a Rinseless wash. Also a waterless wash. A fine mist that doesn’t get blown away by the wind.
Just bought the new Worx pump. Had the max 150 psi in my Sure Shot .. = Awesome.
The Solo sprayer with the angled tip worked great when I pretreated my vehicle with Wolfgang’s Uber Rinseless wash product. Made the wash more effective. Couldn’t imagine using a spray bottle after this. Thanks!
Glad you are getting good results with your SOLO sprayer!
Milan Jurich just bought it for this. Also want to try Opti-clean .
I ordered the solo sprayer, can't wait to use it. I brought it for 15 bucks.
Finally found the high presure one, thanks for the video!

100% true, only guys like us who wrench understand this stuff and why we use these tools.
Auto Fanatic spot on! Thanx for the reply man

were u get the sure shot from

Solo sprayer is the best bang per buck to have, i absolutely love them and have yet to break one over the years.
You can get a Chemical sprayer from a Hardware store for $4.99. Found mine on sale for $2.99.
not as good as the ones i show here, trust me on that.

Great vid! Short and to the point.
thanks these devices are so useful around the garage and shop you find things just to spray with them.
Well done! How long does the Sure Shot lasts before being pressurized again?
it depends how much you fill the tank up, i do 50% fill and i can spray half the side of a car
@@autofanaticcars Not bad. More fill less time?
yes
How is the pressure on these? I plan to use it in place of brake parts cleaner cans. Im hoping for the same cutting power you can get out of the disposable cans.

Do you think you can put paint in that sure shot?
No it's to viscous. It will gunk up
Do you think I use less product when using an iron remover on the solo on its lowest setting compared to a trigger spray? Does the iron damage the solo?
How long with the solo last if you use degreaser for tires and acid for wheel
Great video man, thanks for showing these but just in case anyone is watching , as of right now I went on amazon and saw a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer for $11 bucks free shipping, it’s normally like $30 bucks (chapin 20000 garden sprayer) it has a large rod that sprays looks like a budget power washer basically.
Those aren’t t really good. You can get the same one at harbor freight. Might wana spend more money and get the IK sprayer.
Auto Fanatic - I just bought the Solo Sprayer with Adam's New Eco Wheel Cleaner. Can I keep the Wheel cleaner in the Solo Sprayer? Or will the chemicals damage the sprayer if I don't empty it after each use?
i dont like to leave anything in my sprayers long term.
Sounds good, I'll empty it after each use. I was thinking it would hold up if I just kept it in the spray bottle but I'd rather not risk it :)
What wheel cleaner are you using in the solo
Can anyone here tell me how you guys found or linked to this video, I cant believe how a silly quick video has gained such a huge response so quickly. if anyone can share please post where you found the video online. thanks.
Recommended videos. I'm into auto detailing and never knew they made such an item. This was interesting.
pick one of these up man it is a game changer for wheel cleaners and even spray detailers, super awesome.
Someone posted a link to your video in the comments of a video Obsessed Garage did on sprayers. Could be some of the views. Either way, great video. Thanks ruclips.net/video/_tCE8mvb16Y/видео.html
I wanted to see alternatives for AMMO AERATOR.
How much did this detail cost?
hay thanks great video
Hello just saw this. You think I can use sure shot as putting on tire shine.
yes you can but if you get sloppy and spray it on your brake system you will crash so be careful
Auto Fanatic thanks dude
Can you use a acid wheel cleaner in the Solo Pump Sprayer?
Chuck Hall not recommended because of the plastic and rubber seals. if you do dilute enough maybe but you need to experiment
Thanks for the answer
Mine ruined with nanoskin acid wheel cleaner
i bet the acid ruins everything even conventional spray nozzles
You have to use a special sprayer that has no O rings
Can theSure Shot sprayer be used with the HoneyDo car wash to sufficiently foam on the vehicle in lue of using a pressure washer?
as a pretreatment yes but it wont have the same effect but the sureshot sprayer is one of the best things to pick up for around the garage and house i use it for everything.
Can you use the same air-hose you would for a paint-gun to recharge the Sure Shot?
Damian Novick yes any compressor can charge the Sure Shot sprayers using a standard tire valve chuck
I have definitely inhaled some McGuires all-purpose cleaner quite a few times which led me to this video lol
Kevin Perez watch me new wheel cleaner videos on this channel
Thank you !
Re: the solo sprayer ... 1 liter sufficient or did you go for the 2 liter version? Seems like 33oz or 1 liter should be enough
Milan Jurich we have both sizes
I went ahead and picked up the 2 liter size
Have you tried the ik foam 1.5? How it compares to the solo?
I have and will show demo of the IK1.5 on the channel with my wheel cleaner soon, maybe next week.
Auto Fanatic I am sorry for asking again haha but which one you recommend for wheel cleaning and other task? I am between the solo and the 1.5. I already have the ik foam 9
Can I store my 3:1 diluted Diablo wheel cleaner in the actual unit, or do I have to empty the reservoir after each use? Thanks!
that cleaner is like regular soap im sure you can.
$80 for a spray can? Yeah, I'll stick with the aerosols thanks. The blowby thing was amusing to hear about though when I could see the $80 can doing the exact same thing. I could only see this being cost effective if you used numerous cans of brake cleaner a day.

A amazon review states they break after e months of use. Not worth the it
So you could put a car wash cleaner in that and if you wanted to you could use it to spray down your car ??? Or wheels
JK XTC not enough volume to spray. a car down i use for the wheels and for parts cleaning only
Thx
Can u put tire dressing in the. Water based dressing
100% yes a local detail shop does that after i showed them the sprayers
If I wanted to use the sure shot to wash an entire car, would one full can work, and would one charge be enough?
Rare S550 you can but i fill and charge twice when i pretreat car i like to use a lot of product. ck out my rinseless wash videos
Options the ik foamer the gloria foamer and way cheaper i get this sprayer is nice but cost for the wekend warrior is not worth it
new video coming next week on foamers of all prices and origins, stay tuned for that one.
graffiti artist gonna love this product 😂😂😂
not sure if these work for paint or would offer such control, better off using an airbrush with portable propellant for wall murals!
Can you use a car soap on the solo sprayer?
yes you can at any dilution rate seems to work if you make it too thick it comes out in a stream instead of a spray pattern you just need to play around until you get the desired result
Got fed up waiting for you to get to the point
That’s a lot of product coming out of that sure shot, No?
not really this is a demo you control volume with PSI and the adj nozzle its awesome i have 3 of these in the shop for diff needs.
Auto Fanatic I would like to get this for my wheels but I use Sonax wheel cleaner and it’s pretty thick will the sure shot be able to spray this? I tried a small pump sprayer and it was to thick to atomize, thanks for sharing
Antimatter yes the sure shot works well with thicker products, also this eliminates the blowback if inhaling the nasty sonax when using a sprayer
If only the Sure shot held more liquid, it is way to small.
still worth having and many practical uses for these. we love them, the steel version holds more product FYI and is cheaper
Still doesn’t foam up
the Sure Shots are not supposed to foam up
Tell me when the aerosol is $40 lol
if you use chemicals every day this is the solution to better productivity and lower costs all day long.
Too much talking. 2/3 video talk3.
Does the psi drop from the initial spray or over time with the sure shot?
It does but its still pretty strong until the last bit of product runs out. I max my battery operated pump out at 150 psi. The Sureshot is rated for 200 psi.
