Wow, each load of the truck looks like it only lays about 50 foot or so of new asphault. Boy they do a great job though, it's tough work, especially working in the heat.. My hats off to all these guys working...!
I've never seen paved joints raked so much us british paving crews should come over and show you guys how it's done ....! Roller drivers weren't to bad .....
Watched the whole thing...I love construction and especially pavers. Its funny because at 41:30 seems like she was upset at the fact she had no water left haha
When they put up those NO PARKING signs on those pylons or whatever that also has the times and the dates on them, they Really mean that they WILL tow peoples Vehicles at their Own expense...

these guys are doing it wrong no pavement left in hopper between loads driving on tack coat stopping lay down machine going only one way shoveling over flow on a fresh laid surface luting the center back on fresh laid surface which could cause premature pot holing

The next day the gas, water and sewer Dept were cutting it up to make repairs. Don't worry they will make a bumpy patch !
Everytime they repave a street here you can give it a week and then the city will come dig up a spot and leave it rough
For the win!
so freaking awesome. I've always loved street paving, and civil engineering... This video finally allows me to see the step by step process. Thanks

It segregates the material each time you fold the wings. The mat will not be as tight because of larger aggregate.
