great video! Is there a reason you blend the fur to remove square edges if you're just going to cut it square once it is tied down?

Beautiful fly!! I was wondering about the hooking fish on the rear hook. Is the tied-in and glued straight wire enough to hold the rear section of the fly together? That is, to keep a fish from just pulling the rear half of the fly off? Thanks.

I live on social security. What is laser hair and filler flash? What are cheap substitutes, like Bonnie’s macrame. What type of articulated wire and diameter? I have pliers to bend wire. Thank You.

Angelina Sparkley Fiber on eBay is really cheap , strong & easy to work with ....I use it & you get heaps in one cheap bag . The articulated shanks are made of very stiff wire, to a specific shape thats hard to bend , and yes , theres numerous videos on here about how to make your own ....think I'll be making my own from now on coz they're expensive .Plus there's heaps of cheap stuff you can substitute from craft shops n discount bargain shops . I had a look around & had a brainstorm - modify cheap fishing snaps of various sizes for use instead of buying articulated shanks lol !

Do you think this would work as a crossover fly in saltwater for redfish?
