Your attention to eating well is excellent.
Strange that this boat did not sink with the huge balls you have. Respect. Great adventure. Greetings from Germany.
🤣🤣
hahaha
You are a great sailor and an inspiration for anyone who wants to take to the sea with a tiny boat. Bon aventure .
Another fantastic video, you are the true adventurer. You are superman with your travels.
Love your attitude, Nico! You show us the meaning of the philosophy called stoicism. Always making the best out of every moment, not fighting the obstacles, but dealing with them in a productive and creative way. Mindblowing!
Haha thanks !! I think thats the way to live on the ocean :) No way to fight it !!
Nicolas you are amazing brave solo sailor ❤
Thank you for sharing😊
Am I jealous? Of course I am you lucky bugger 😊
Ótimo navegas com alegria, o mundo é pequeno para você!
Richtig nice! 👍
Another very nice video
Congratulations
bonjour nicolas, wonderfull bienvenue en France
Hello Nico, impressive journey! I´m interested how you did the full boat sequences. Thanks for letting me know.
It was shot on an Insta360 cam with a 3m stick :)
I follow you since the beginning of your trip !!! Congratulation, i will enjoy more the people who travel on a small boat !!!! Do you will buy a other boat ?
Congratulation Captain! Mini-transat regata will be easy for you my friend!
there will be something similar coming up 🤓
Did you make it to Lorient on time? Man, you are a guy ready and willing to sacrifice a lot. Must be very hard on such a small boat, without sun shade. I guess most people cannot imagine how hard it is. Your achievements are amazing.
Yes :P boat and me are in Lorient since July
Nice to see fulfilling your wishes. For an outsider like me, would you explain how to prepare, which licenses, educations etc are needed for such a trip?
Hey I will do a video about this in the winter so stay tuned !!
Probably depends on where you are from.
In UK, none required.
@@markthomasson5077 same here if your engine is less than 15hp
@@markthomasson5077 am I understanding right that without any sailing experience etc., you can just buy a small boat and go wherever you want?
@@glaszlo9694 yup. Well on the sea. You need a very basic test for inland water. To use a Marina, normally you should have third party insurance, though they never ask
Do you remember roughly how much water you carried?
Hi Nicolas, could you tell me what is thee model of your windvane and the cost ? I've a sangria 7,6 m . Keep.well ,.what is your next adventure planified ?
Its a windpilot pacific light .. its for sale on ebay if you need one 😅 new adventures are coming and will be released soon 😋
@@sailing.oneworld thanks for your replay. Actually my boat is stuck in the finister and will stay for a long time.if the storms doesn't stop.
During WW2 the Germans constructed nice harbors in the Azores to keep the Atlantic waves tamed. The allies took them but the infrastructure remains. The Azores is certainly worth visiting.
May I have the recipe for your bread please
Hey Patrick thanks for the comment ! It´s very easy !! I take flour, water, oil and salt that´s it. Make a nice dough and cook it on very low heat with the lid on. I took a few tries to make it nice but you have alot of time at sea anyway :P
Merci Nicolas
Better if you get a sourdough starter going, is very easy. Just mix a thick batter, wait till it starts to ferment, then add more flour…hey presto!
Normally you keep it in the fridge, but if you use it , and replenish every couple of days, I guess it would be fine…even on a small boat.
Cooking is definitely one of the joys of solo sailing
without yeast
I sail alone and am a little scared and nervous sailor Nicolas how do I overcome my anxiety ? Any advice ?
Hey !! Thanks for your comment! I think the best way is to train solo sailing with friends onboard so you have a backup. Then slowly grow your trips. And prepare very well, allways have a good plan B!
@@sailing.oneworld I rarely have anyone with me because I love the solitude because at work I see so many people but I will definitely take your advice and bring friends and build my confidence I do agree with you because I do feel much more comfortable and relaxed when someone is with me I have a Tanzer 7.5 incase your wondering ⛵️❤️
