Beemaw such so much you could called it young riley reed
Candy Kayn just writes itself man his scythe being a candy cane just works and you could easily just make it the same type of skin as fiddlesticks christmas skin for his darkin form
Sad thing is, that skin would be perfect, but between Riot retiring the Christmas/winter holiday skins and Kayn being a pain in the ass to make skins for it's probably never happening :(

Project Mordekaiser was a Master piece for me I love the effects of the skin I love the voice lines, and he fit perfectly within the world of project/program
Not to mention one of the rawest lines

After they kept making lame Project skins that are just there because popular (cough ireliacoughAkali) Mordekaiser’s was genuinely amazing and a stand out.

Even though you're like, the least unbiased person ever to talk about Kog'Maw, I actually agree that it's the best. The bee skinline is easily one of the most fun ones and Bee'Maw is where it peaked

Project mordekaiser in south america and spanish had a special voiceline (different in both countries because of Voice actor), that is bassically ''Gestion de escudo'', would translate into ''Shield managment'', referencing a mordekaiser main youtuber who used to play with old mordekaiser a lot, and always when he got a thick shield to outplay someone he would say the phrase, kind of wholesome from riot and the youtuber definitively liked it

The Bee skins I didn't notice at all until I got Yuubee from a chest and then I noticed all of them and now they're my favorite skins

Interestin how most of the good skins are monster or non human champion almost like when riot give a character a good design and silhouette it means they can explore interesting and fun ideas with their skins

even though this skin was in like early january, i really loved porcelain lissandra, it has amazing partical effects but with a simple idea in mind, lissandras alrighty forgotten as it is but im really happy she received some love with this skin
I loved debeneir zed this year like from the champion, the color scheme, the fucking suit all of it felt like it was made for me and the cherry on top was the voice lines. Am I biased yes he is my favorite champion after all but still.
Honestly, I am so dissapointed my brain didn't immediately realise Nr 1, it should have been obvious. Even so, if only a fraction of the joy Nicky has when talking about Bee-related skins rubs off on us, we will all be blessed this year. It is VERY good yes, Mainly i just didn't want to double dip on skin thematic for this one: i.e. no more than one space groove, shan hai scrolls etc. Cause besides Space Groove Gwen and Rumble the entirety of both of those skin lines is 10/10 in my eyes
One of my personal favorites was Dissonance Viego. I really like the direction they took him and it feels very fitting with his character and model.

Imagine a Battle Academia Nautilus the Janitor skin where he carries a giant push broom. The floating thingies on his shield would be "No running" floor signs and when Naut slows you with his E he'd say "No running in the halls! because I have to clean!". His R would be a drain plunger that does a suction cup sound effect when it knocks you into the air or something along those lines. You can't have an academia and have no one to clean up the students' mess after all.
But we're getting neither Santa Ivern nor Janitor Nautilus sadly ;_;

I personally really liked the Nightbringer Kayn skin, simply because of all the glow, color and shine to it. The skin has an awesome recall even before the transform and after it, awesome design and everything. The scheme of "changing red and blue" was done greatly. I personally like the normal version more than the prestige, since it fits better.
Proyect Mordecaiser got a reference to a Spanish RUclipsr that mains Mordecaiser and created a meme when in a guide from before the rework he started saying "Gestión de Escudo" and they added that as a voice line in Spanish ( He is called Manute if someone wants to check him out )

Hi, full-time Jhin one trick and Asian, part-time twitter asian culture helper here. The reason why a lot of players were miffed about the Shan Hai scrolls Jhin boiled down to a few things
1) the skin looked very much underdeveloped for Jhin skin.
This could be attributed to how good each one of Jhin's skins are, but compared to the other skins SHJ just looked like almost just a chroma, rather than a full 1350 RP skin to many players. This was the biggest complaint
2) For skinline named after the Shan Hai Jing, it does not reference ANY creature or any connection to the said text.
Shan Hai Jing is a compendium of all the creatures of the mountains of China, and is one of the more culturally significant text in East Asian culture. However, we do not see any kind of reference to them even though the skinline is SPECIFICALLY named after it.
3) Skinline's design is uninspired.
This one is particularly a big miff from me, because this skin just... Does not incorporate any cultural artstyle of East Asian culture. The mask is a big offender to this because it neither references any of the existing looks of a demon/creature/mask in general. It is far, FAAAR too angular, incorporates big, jagged teeth which only because relevant in the modern age post-industrial revolution, and no matter how you look at this skin, it looks like a white interpretation of what an East Asian Humanoid Demon would "look like", rather than something that feasibly could be part of the culture. It looks very, VERY out of place
In short, the skin felt underdeveloped, under-researched, and overall appropriated the older history of East Asia rather than really promoting it.
BlackFrost Vel'koz isn't a Watcher, is the creature "keeping" the world rune in the Ryze's cinematic, Call of Power.

I know favorite skins are a mix or taste and of actual work and thoughts put into a skin but i think a kayle skin deserve a placement in one of the best skin tier list

Space Groove Gwen has to be it for me. It's just the skinline perfectly summarized while being both a fresh and we'll rounded representation of what a skin can do for a champion. No other skin this year was able to do that for me as much.

Prestige Ascended Pantheon is the only prestige skin that i own i do not regret a single penny that skin looks fucking awesome and the little sweet that comes instead of bread is a nice lil touch
NGL, and y’all may think I’m weird for this, but for some reason I really like Yasuo’s Truth and Dream Dragon skins. And I don’t even play Yasuo. But I like the design and the voice a lot more than his other skins, for some reason. Idk why, but I actually really like his voice line when he ults using those skins. Again, idk why. Just kinda stands out to me

BeeMaw is hands down the best skin Riot has ever made. Void Puppy is my favorite champ out of all of them
My personal fave for 2021 was ngl too narrowed compared to 2019 or something but honestly, it is Cafe Cutie Vlad and Bard. I like the uncle vibes of Vlad which was always missed because he's just portrayed like a typical angry vampire. And Bard...goddamn he thicc. I know you'll root to Beemaw and it's fine, he's 200x cuter than in Arcanist.
(Dissonance of Pentakill Viego would be a runner up for me, he could've been so much more but Riot decided not to do it. I really feel that it is a cheaper Legendary skin that makes it a bit overhyped)
