“This is a stock exchange. There's no money here to steal.
Bane: Really? Then why are you people here?”
Love that line
Always surprised of how good Catwoman is "acting" a victim in the bar scene... - Oh, snap, yeah, I forgot that Anne Hathaway is a brilliant actress 🙂
I agree... That scene really shocked me... Those screams!
I was just coming to the comments to say this, although she could play the victim & maybe get away. She wouldn’t be left alone. Once you breach & clear an area any “civilians” would be likely handcuffed or at least held until they were interrogated. Playing the victim then walking out simply isn’t gonna happen. Swat / HRT simply won’t let that happen, maybe local cops wouldn’t realize tho
She's a woman in Hollywood. Of course she can play the victim. Its all they do
Bane's performance is constantly overshadowed by the joker's performance. It is understandable but Tom Hardy did a pretty good job.
Batman begins deals with : fear
Dark knight deals with : chaos and order
Dark knight rises deals with : hope
The Batman Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece
Easily one of the best trilogies in the history of movies!!1!
Hope u rate TLOTR higher :/
@@zitronenkern4541 I said one of. Obviously excluding everything outside of the og trilogy.
This movie gets better to me with each rewatch. I also suggest Man of Steel: I was surprised by how much I liked it.
I like man of steele alot. Don't seem to get as much praise though.
Man of Steel humanized Superman, made people understand his roots and learn how he became the man he is . . . but a majority of people didn't like that, they wanted something more classic, less realistic.
Because WB refuses to give one people directive control over the DC universe, we constantly see WB execs stepping in, demanding to appease the masses, which ultimately leads to the constant DC movie failures. Honestly, DC's strong suit is in their TV shows.
@@Ncyphen realistic?
Man of steel is one of the top 3 best DC movies ever ! In my opinion
@@ThePopbanks007 ok, down-to-earth would have been a more appropriate term.
It's so connected. Makes it easily one of best story trilogies
love the small detail of fox being told that Bruce fixed the autopilot months beforehand. small quick line, but makes everything tie together so well
and the fact that the bat signal was fixed 🥹
When this movie came out a lot of people complained about bane because he’s not 100% comic accurate… but as someone who’s not super deep into comics, I think this bane rules.
we all know heath was legendary as the joker and cannot be surpassed but you gotta admit Tom hardy's Bane was epic did an amazing job he's legit terrifying.
Batman and catwoman are star-crossed lovers, in the comics they even almost get married and they had a daughter together
Saw this 4 times in theaters. Never seen a movie this many times before or since.
4 times! Wow Nice!
Yep! I saw TDK twice in theaters & TDKR 3 times. Never did that for any other movie.
Love the BatCat action
Haha how happy you was when he break his back ! Thanks for the laughs 😂
I always get chills when Batman reemerges on the batpod in front of the cops.
The prison from which Bruce escaped from is the real world version of the lazarus pit.
I absolutely love the ending of this movie. Great reaction as always!!!! Would you at some point watch the new Batman movie with Robert Pattinson?
I plan to watch/react to that when it comes out for streaming in a couple weeks. :)
@@NewfieMovieReactions can't wait! Thanks for replying
@@NewfieMovieReactions think it’s coming in a couple days actually
Holy shit was Pattinson good or what? Blew me away because I didn't believe he'd make a good Batman. I thought we were going to have another Clooney or Affleck on our hands, but we got arguably the best Batman out of him. To me he's 2nd behind Bale, but that could change with his series of movies. I want to wait until we get the full story to properly place him, but man I'm so excited for it. I really really hope we get the Court of Owls
@@bwestacado9643 I think Court of owls would be best saved for the 3rd movie. Imagine if Bruce learned his parents were apart of it 😱😱😱
Loved the choreography to the action of this movie. Here's a BatCat joke. What happens when Batman sees Catwoman? His Dark Knight Rises!!!! 🤣🤣
I loved this trilogy, I watched it for the first time last year and no regrets!
I love Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Rises had to grow on me. It's an enormous movie. It looks great. Bane is the MVP. It doesn't flow as well as The Dark Knight. It mostly works and has gotten better over time. All except for Talia's death scene. That's the one inarguably terrible thing in the movie. Surely they had a better take than that.
Batman Begins 9/10
The Dark Knight 9.5/10
The Dark Knight Rises (high)8/10
I don't give 10s that often lol. Point is, I like them all. I'm glad Rises aged well. Sometimes it's the other way around and you just never know what a decade will do to how you feel about a film..
Bane was breaking the guy's neck slowly and painfully
Every bane line is so memorable
I love how Tom Hardy's voice is the same as Bane as when he plays Mad Max
I've always been Marvel, but Batman has usually been a bright spot in DC going back to Michael Keaton's Batman. Plus the Snyderverse is good. Shame it's been discontinued though.
Real comic fans aren't so discriminatory
Yeah I'm more Marvel than DC, but Batman is my favorite hero. I'm so picky about the movies and the cast they pick. I'm happy with Pattinson right now. The Batman blew me away with hoe good it was
@@jlhanlon1980 Real comic fans hate what Marvel and DC are doing to the comics these days. Are you a real comic fan? Or a twatter gatekeeper who pretends to be a fan to force feed us an ugly and destructive ideology?
Yeah same, wish we could have gotten a batman vs deathstroke movie
One of the best trilogies ever made, hands down. From the acting, the cast period, the composition and direction of this movie were just all so very Nolanesque, and I loved every second of it
There's a theory that Batman did die and the ending is just a form of a hallucination.
The evidence would be that Catwoman is wearing the pearls. (I don't remember if Bruce got those back but if he did, those would still be at Wayne Manor)
And quite the coincidence that Bruce and Selina are there at the exact same time as Alfred. Like how long were they waiting for Alfred to show up, did they eat at that restaurant everyday.
There's other stuff but those are the 2 I remember.
Really glad you enjoyed that. I enjoyed watching you. I know I said this before, but I've watched a lot of superhero movies and this triad took the Batman seriously. No smart-a** remarks every few minutes, like a LOT of superhero movies. It was dead serious, and I think that gave it a gravitas that was more like an original movie, than an adaptation of a "comic" book. Lots of fun!!!
You should check out the animated 2 part-er The Dark Knight Returns. It's based on the book of the same name and it's simply amazing.
Zack Snyder's favorite comic book.
definitely worth a look
We are talking about the legendary Batman comics. Batman Return of the Dark Knight.
He gunna be a
Happily...hooking up w da cat 😁🤣
Happily hookin’ up with the cat 🐈⬛ 😂
Warner Bros. and DC have dozens and dozens of FANTASTIC animated movies! They ALL are GREAT!! Can't do live-action (sans Batman) but they do the animated movies better than ANYONE!! I would put them up against the MCU anyday!! Hell, the latest Harley Quinn mini-series is just as good as any of the latest MCU mini-series and it's hilarious!
marvel makes some great action flicks, but even at it's best your are still gonna think to yourself " yep, i am watching some silly cape shit".
dc at it's best is a full on cinematic experince that can really draw you into it's world.
i think it's has a lot to do with the with the fact that the best dc stuff always let's plenty of rooms for the characters. a huge chunk of marvel movies are filled with CG effects and nice choreographed fights. they never have enough of those little human moments and no i am not talking about one liners and jokes being thrown around before a big battle or serious moment.
when 2 total opposites just stand before eachother and talk, that alone can be enough and plenty of these movies draw you in via their dialogue and not their fancy CG.
i still like the marvel stuff, but i will always take a movie like JOKER or The Dark Knight Returns over something like Civil War or Captain America.
@DC Comics not even you believe on that, imagine making a whole profile to defend the company who couldn't even keep the rights to themselves
Mask of the Phantasm is one of the best Batman movies of all time.
Marvel has always been more about the fun and amazement. DC takes itself more seriously and operates more in the realm of myths and symbols. That means when a DC story works, it has the power to move you more than just about anything out there. But it also means when it doesn't work it comes off a bit sad and pathetic. Whereas Marvel takes more of an even keel, is always pretty good sometimes even great, but after a while starts to all feel the same.
I've never seen someone so excited when Batman gets his back broken lol
Haha it was a big piece of art on the wall in a comic book shop that I used to go to, so it was great to see it on the big screen! :D
Loved this movie (huge Catwoman fan here) as much as I loved watching your reaction to it! Great vid. Can't wait to see your reaction to The Batman when it releases ;)
Awesome! Thank you!
Batman Begins- at the end I thought that it was the best super hero movie I'd seen and there was no going up from there, The Dark Knight- first movie i had ever been to where the packed theatre actually stood up and gave applause throughout the whole credits the first and second time i went and watched it, well deserved applause at that, still probably the best super hero movie ever made, The Dark Knight Rises, unfairly not given its due because it had to follow the Joker, but Bane/Hardy was Amazing, i'm really not embarrassed to say that Michael Caine giving the eulogy made my eyes tear up pretty bad, and in the end, Begins was 3 of 3 and Rises was a lot closer to being number one than begins was to being 2nd best, Christopher Nolan is amazing and you should watch all of his movies, Heath Ledger became an Icon and Christian Bale is the best Batman ever, not even close!
There are quite a few trilogies I can pick up and watch at any time due to how good they are and though most of those are from older 80's/90's/2k's, this one fits in with those.
I forget how funny they made Bane in this movie, his one liners are golden.
"We got a happy ending.."
Yea...that usually cost extra..
You should check out the DC series "Doom Patrol." Honestly a very good DC show features some of the DC hero/villain rejects that have been deemed not worth while to make movies out of. It's a really fun and well written live action TV show on HBOMax.
"I dont what to break: your spirit or your body."
Loved the reactions, brother. Keep it up
They should make a Nightwing Trilogy with Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Anne Hathaway was so good in this.
Gordon: What are you doing?!
Batman: **I CAN GET IT OUT AHH__ADWHUIAWHDIUHdaudhwadaw!brid**
me: WHAT lol
The strong point of this trilogy is, it reach and conclusion which not only open conclusion but als it completely comes in full circle.
I love the dialog when many characters keep repeating of lines from other characters or completing scene of other characters mentioned before. Hehe
Not too often you watch Inception with Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Michael Caine and then get the same actors in DKR
This is how you ground the Lazarus Pit in reality.
What a lovely lovely reaction
Great trilogy, one of the best. Amazing what happens when a skilled filmmaker goes into a project with a plan from beginning to end. Yeah Disney Star Wars sequel trilogy, I'm looking at you.
If your looking for a franchise to do I would suggest The Evil Dead franchise. The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness and three awesome seasons of Ash vs Evil Dead. You can't be a movie fan without knowing Ash. The greatest hero to ever exist, whether we like it or not, he's the one we got.
The first movie is THE "cabin in the woods" movie. The second begins the tone shift, the third the Ash character is fully realized and the series is pure gold.
Thanks man, for the beautiful reaction of this epic movie.🔥🌿🎉😎
When we found out he was Robin
cool reaction ive been thinking about doing them sadly idk how
batmant and talia(daughter of raz al gul) in the comics also have a kid named damina he becomes robbin and in one comic story he even becomes batman after bruce died
batman's son is named damian. I miss spelled it XD
Despite being a marvel fan, this is one of my favorite trilogies of all time. I wish we got more, and I wish Heath didn’t have to pass
I'm a total marvel fanboy when it comes to the rivalry but holy moly the dark knight trilogy is phenomenal cinema. Casting, direction, Dialogue, music, it has only strengths.
Real comic book fans don't pick a brand
@@jlhanlon1980 Think is, i like dc comics better ( especially Lobo back in the day ), yet majorly prefer marvel movies. They just do it better in 9/10 cases.
100% watch The Batman when it comes out to HBO Max on April 19th
Off topic but you said like that guy from always "sunny in Philadelphia" tv show Charlie Day
I remember watching Anne Hathaway’s performance in the cinema. She was okay
they didn't tell any of the cia guys at the beginning that they weren't filming a lego movie? they're just happy as fuck
Great reaction bro, talking as a comic head of DC let me tell you that she is Thalia AlGhul daughter of Ras AlGhul and the mother of the only real son of Bruce Wayne. Damián Wayne AlGhul and to this day Robin
Brilliant I've have watched all the Batman the Dark movie series my fav is The Joker keep up the good Reactions 👍
That intro scene isn't CGI...love Nolan movies and actions...and Tom Hardy played a good bane...in future I want to see Dave Bautista to be bane.
Ya it's Talia-al-ghul
noo where is the fiunal scene with robin?!??! THAT WAS EPIC ENDING
I hope you'll start the dceu soon with man of steel.
Nice video man
You should react to Batman The Animated Series, it's the best Batman content. Also alot of the animated movies are great like Mask of the Phantasm.
Theres a few things to point out with this movie, that Robin doesn't exist, he's not any of the known Robin's. Ra's while he did appear to Bruce as a vision, is actually immortal. Ra's has lived for 800+ years. If you knew some lore then right away you'd be like wtf? Bane isn't Ra's kid, he had a daughter named Talia. Also they got Talia all wrong. She's supposed to be attractive, a very good assassin and fighter, and she knows Bruce is Batman. She calls him my love, and she does have a relationship with Batman. They even have a son, Damien Wayne who becomes the 4th Robin. Talia loves Bruce and wouldn't try to kill him. So yeah theres a few errors in this movie.
Errors?
@@joshuaguevara6775 Yes.
@@ItApproaches it’s called an adaption their is no errors
@@joshuaguevara6775 Nope.
Best superhero trilogy ever created. Change my mind.
31:00 i dont think is only the motivation, i do belive that once you get high enough, the rope DOES PHISICALY HOLD YOU BACK!, like, it adds sme weigt onto you and pull you down, so you need to take it out in order to be able to reach the other side
How about something not Comic, like the Jason Bourne Trilogy. Such a good trilogy, he's the original John Wick.
Have nothing to do with current but I would love to see you reacts to the movie Battleship. Great reaction by the way
Best superhero trilogy ever
Dc has definetely dipped but in my opinion, the dark knight trilogy is better than any marvel movie.
you should do reactions to some of DC Animated movies... I recommend Doom, Flashpoint Paradox, both Justice League Dark's, Injustice, The Killing Joke and Under the Red Hood..... and maybe Gotham by Gaslight.... The animated movies are on a different level
Sir Michael is awesome
The DENT act gave the police TEETH? LOLOLOL
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
This and Bronson are the best performances tom hardy has ever had hes a really good actor but doesnt get to show it that much
What are you talking about … dunkirk , Peaky blinders, warrior, mad max fury road. all of them pretty solid performances.
Well, if you like horror films maybe react to Friday the 13th or Scream or something.
I really want to do some Horror, but the bulk of my subs at the moment are not horror fans. I hope to get to those in the future. :)
@@NewfieMovieReactions I mean, if they're actually fans they'll watch any content, just reacting to something new will bring in new fans, the horror community is just as diehard as the superhero community, I don't think you really lose anything by reacting for a broader audience rather than for your established fans, and like I said, real fans will watch regardless so you're appealing to potential viewers and consistent viewers.
Best of the trilogy
Is the 60's Batman your only frame of reference?
Mostly yes, I've read a few comics and seen some of the cartoons A LONG time ago.
of the two live action Bane's this one is... closer to the comic book bane. I really liked Tom Hardy's portrayal, but I feel like this movie could have done more with the character. oh, and they really did that to a real plane.
My favorite super hero. Reason why I love DC more than Marvel
Flaw with film in regards to the criminals is joker would of been let loose.
GO STEELERS!
this movie gets a lot of shit, and i honestly think it’s because being released after tdk and having this huge expectation placed on it was rough. i have my complaints, i think that it could have definitely been cut down on time a bit, and there were areas that did drag on a little among other things, but it’s a lot better than people give it credit for, and it wrapped up the trilogy beautifully. i personally think it’s the weakest of the trilogy, but even the weakest movie is still significantly better than a lot of cbms best.
Its time to watch the ultimate best movie: The Batman 2022
And again: All's well that ends well 😉
I always get pee in my eyes when Bruce looks up the shaft and sees his father shaking his hand.
... and I really need the tumbler bike 😄
If it goes on like this, Gotham’s gonna end up like Portland
I thought they saved money and used real footage.
Watch Man of Steel, BvS, and ZSJL!
@27:50 RUclips search "Trump Bane speech" you're welcome.
It's now time to react to the video "Batman can't stop thinking about sex"!
Gotham became modern Chicago
Chicago is not Americas most dangerous city as you insinuate.
The Nolan Batman movies are the best of DC
I really recommend Joker
React to Journey to the centre of the Earth 2008 you will like it has the guy from the mummy in it
Would you consider to watch it
Omg AND Callian Murphy 😂 at this point I’m just assuming Leo and Christian Bale switched places between sets
Oh, Bruce is definitely dead. Thanks to the Clean Slate, both Bruce and Selina are dead.
35:00 yeah this part of the movie is realy stupid, it would have been much cooler if they sot him, and he just took the shots like a champ in his armor, and punched them back afterwards
A good movie is a good movie. This dichotomy/loyalty between marvel and DC is so silly. Both have had weaker installments, both have had great ones. But to be honest, bunching this Nolan trilogy up with DC is a bit inaccurate. This trilogy is more Christopher Nolan than DC
Yeah I didn't know this at the time, I just seen the DC comics logo come up in the beginning. It's okay for someone to like Marvel more than DC or vise versa. I've just always taken to Marvel since I was a kid. But I'm open to checking out the DC content to see if I like it for sure. :)
@@NewfieMovieReactions glad you’re branching out either way. You should watch Dunkirk, Interstellar, The Prestige and Memento since you also watched Inception
10:30 he doesnt lie, he is pretending to be bruce wayne ecentric bilionare, his real personality is batman
Poison Ivy as a twist was awesome
