I must say that Glenn's voice is out of this world! With Derek, Joe and Jason is the perfect combo! 😍 I surely can tell this is the best Hard Rock song of 2024!
These guys carry the torch forward for Hard Rock fans like me who love the hard rock of the 70`s and beyond. Amazing band would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when this band gets together in the studio. I hope hope hope they tour and play America all over. Love to see them Live.
It has been a KILLER journey getting turned on to the brilliance of Trapeze in the early seventies and following Glenn's career and music all of these years and he is still doing it and doing it well. New BCC WOW~~!
These first two songs released from this new record are absolutely killer. The entire band is bringing me a game. Glenn’s vocals are killer, Bonamassa’s guitar playing is unreal and Jason Bonham is a beast.
Met Hughes with my daughter She was maybe 10 years old at the time and his interaction with her was so amazing and kind Truly a gentlemen and gentle soul
I'm so happy these guys are making more music. This Fn rules. Incredible always hearing Glenn sound this good, and Sherinian, Bonamossa, BONHAM?!?! such a force of rock and roll.
I really love " Red Sun". Great song!! Nice to hear new songs for BCC, sounding fresh and with a different musical approach. With these two songs so far, I was happily surprised.
Interesting I thought the opposite. Thought it was too familiar with a few of their other songs. But I'll have to listen to the whole thing when it's out. Thought red sun was just ok.
@@jerrywoods4066 There are certainly some similar songs in the band's career, but they were never options to be released as a single. This is what I think makes the biggest difference. The singles released were always those that followed the pattern of Black Country and One Last Soul, for example. Perhaps Stay Free is a more obvious difference in musical approach. But I also see in Red Sun's structure a difference in options for where to have the chorus, approach to the pre-chorus... these are subtle aspects, but they show the band experimenting.
Rolling Stones on 2023, Nick Cave, Knopfler, Gilmour, Joel, Deep Purple, BCC in 2024... I don't look at their age, they are still holding up... a very good year!
I'm adoring the luscious subliminal 'ooh yeah' and the 'mmmm's under the radar in the first 20seconds and all throughout the first verse. Don't stop!!! Absolutely Brilliant!

There is no way in hell they won't. This album 2 tracks is their best right out of the gate. They will sell out theaters and it won't be cheap. Jason has a full schedule with Foreigner though, so who knows when?
I bought their first album when it came out, it had the passion and freshness of an exciting debut. I felt the next two while technically accomplished, they had something missing. I didn't listen to the fourth. But man, whatever it took to arrive to this, it was worth it. The best "rock" album I have listened in years. Awesome song. Great production as well.
Loved BCC first 3 albums. Felt like they’d lost the plot on their last studio album. Didn’t resonate with me all. THIS is the band I know and love. Back again, brilliant song!
Sadly, the radio stations and music industey focus on the young. Age shouldn't matter, only quality and these gentlemen have quality in spades! The quality of their songs is amazing, one of the best bands out there!

2024 sees the fifth release by the highly skilled rock group of veterans in Black Country Communion. Surprisingly after the last album was BCCIV, they’ve gone with….and I know you’ll be surprised….V The gang of 4 individual talents returned, fighting fit and raring to go. In case you have been living under a rock, for the uninitiated, BCC includes the talents of Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Derek Sherinian, and Jason Bonham. Also along for the ride is erstwhile collaborator in the producers chair Kevin Shirley. A break up ensued in 2012 with Hughes stating that "Afterglow" might be the bands last album, blaming the bands lack of regular touring. Things got a tad heated where a gig in the UK was pulled, and Bonamassa wouldn’t let the other 3 use the name Black Country Communion. Other highlights are "Restless" which sees Joe come to the fore as it's the soaked in blues feel . "Letting Go" has a riff that AC/DC Bon Scott era would have been proud of. In many of the songs it is a vocal and guitar riff trade off between Bonamassa and Hughes. Whatever Joe can play, Glenn can match him in vocal histrionics. Such so is the intro to "You’re Not Alone" , the song soon melds into Black Zeppelin territory (it had to appear somewhere !) and Bonamassa steps up to the mic in the main. One has to have a certain amount of confidence to trade off with Hughes, and it works well, and should happen more frequently. LYRICS:
On my way to Avalon
And it's so hard to breathe
The path that I do walk upon
My guide, I do believe
Seasons come and seasons go
Waitin' on the sky
Voices in the fireglow
I fail to wonder why
Down come a cold hard rain
Can't lose my grip
Drawn to the skyline
Into the maze
Lost in the harmony
I see the bluebird fall
Inside a dream
Ghost in the karma
Last stargaze
Beside the haunted sea
Red sun
Change gonna come
It's just begun
Red sun
Here come the flood
It is all understood
The last mistake, the travesty
I could not kill the pain
You lie awake, the majesty
A life against the grain
Down come a cold hard rain
Can't lose my grip
Drawn to the skyline
Into the maze
Lost in the harmony
I see the bluebird fall
Inside a dream
Ghost in the karma
Last stargaze
Beside the haunted sea
Red sun
Change gonna come
It's just begun
Red sun
Here come the flood
It is all understood
Red sun
Lost in the shade
The light it will fade
Red sun
Across the land to the sea
It keeps calling to me
Down come a cold hard rain
Can't lose my grip
Drawn to the skyline
Into the maze
Lost in the harmony
I see the bluebird fall
Inside a dream
Ghost in the karma
Last stargaze
Beside the haunted sea
Red sun
